Excellent food, romantic ambiance and the best staff. You’re lucky if you get Lane to recommend a great dinner. Shared a bottle of red wine and a delicious Cinnamon roll bread pudding for dessert. We love that this affordable place is in the neighborhood! We had a satisfying and filling meal.
Flank steak excellent, fries inappropriate. Buttermilk chicken good, grits and veggies underneath with it good. Snapper tough maybe over done. It's was not light and flaky as I am used to with fresh snapper.. Blueberry Rasberry compote very good. No non alcoholic beer? Please no O'Doules, Heiniken or a local NA please. Now that most have watched The Bear, America's fine dining expectations are growing. For the price of B & L, the tables were modest...
A beautiful neighborhood gem that is at home in a big city or a smaller town! Gluten free options that you don't normally find anywhere and desserts that are spectacular. It doesn't hurt to make a reservation, but you can sit on the spacious patio without one. Try Beef and Leaf, you won't be disappointed!
