I was surprised that the business owners would even ruminate about opening a Middle-Eastern/Lebanese/Mediterranean style restaurant in a tiny city/town like Los Alamos considering the population and questionable exposure to this type of cuisine, but I'm glad that they made the choice to move forward with it. Sort of a North African Middle Eastern menu. Salads, soups, sandwiches, bigger plates and good desserts. Hummus, baklava, tzaziki sauce are mainstays. Don't forget the lemon enhanced chicken vegetable soup. Open daily for lunch and dinner.
Pyramid has been one of my favorite restaurants since I moved here. Their transition to the new place was kind of rocky, but the last couple times we were here were good. I wish they'd focus on Pyramid over the cantina, personally, because I haven't been impressed with that.
