I was driving through LA and stopped for a sandwich and coffee to go. The counter person was not the best, not rude but she definitely was not enjoying her day, was not polite and barely spoke loud enough to be heard. We all have our days but customer service counts. We got two coffees which were very good but the two sandwiches were not edible in anyway. Bread was hard yet soggy. Gross!!! I pulled the meat out to eat and it too was rubbery, not edible. Im guessing this sandwich has been sitting in the cooler much too long. Not a $40 experience for two sandwich and two coffees.

We make it a point to stop in every time we visit Los Alamos, whether for pastry snacks, sandwiches or simply their delicious handcrafted coffee and tea beverages. Seating can be at a premium on weekends when the nearby restaurants are closed and it's too chilly to sit on the patio. But, we've never had to wait for a table, even at those busy times. They can make most any specialty beverage you desire, even if it's not on the regular menu or one of their seasonal specials.
The tarts are my personal favorites.

Nice pastries, ran out of quiche i would have had. They were understaffed, and it was exasperated by one (staff) young lady's friend who stood across from her and talked incessantly while she was making coffees, even following her to tables and still talking BS. (Went on for at least 45 minutes) I was appalled that someone could distract someone working for such a long time while a line formed out the door. Add to this that the conversation was nonsense, and could be heard throughout the café. Really made me feel bad for the future that this could happen and No one could understand the social cues were missed that this was unacceptable in a service business.

I went for a drive and on the way back placed a pick up order. On the way, my son fell asleep in the car. I found a close parking spot and thought I could run inside and grab my bag real quick. But there was no bag and a line. Instead of a quick trip inside I had to wait for four parties to order, all while my son is waiting in the car. I get to the counter and am told they’re out of the sandwich I ordered. Why didn’t anyone call before I got there? Why ask for my number when checking out if you’re not going to use it? I didn’t have time to wait. I told them to refund the order and left. Really disappointed with the customer service. Everyone at Pig & Fig is great. Not sure what’s going on here.
they made my ices half sweet pepermint mocha a hot one but its still good and now i feel bad so im leaving a review because i told them i asked for iced.

I came in because a good friend of mine said their coffee is so good. She was so right, I tried the toffee crunch (hot) latte, amazing. I saw they had food, but was just in the mood for coffee, will definitely be back!

Such a cute cafe. I docked it one star because it got so loud in there with customers and the screaming child. However, service was fast and drinks and pastries were delicious. If you plan on getting some work done, take some headphones.

Stopped and got coffee and ice cream during a hail storm. Cute little coffee shop right across the street from the post office and super close to the museum.

Closes way too early, especially Sunday. Not much drink selection if you don't want gelato or coffee.
