On google it says they close at 10pm I showed up tonight with my husband at 8:45 and didn’t want to sit us because apparently they close at 9pm bs ! I’m driving out of town thought I could stop here and have a nice dinner I was disappointed in this place I would never recommend this to any of my fiends don’t come here at all this place suck !

Just got back from my birthday dinner...where to start.
First, the food was not bad, but it definitely was not great. The rice had pretty much no seasoning and an aftertaste. The beans are..okay. The meat however was solid.
Second, they messed up our order not once, but twice. First time they got us the wrong dip, which they then GAVE TO ANOTHER TABLE AFTER IT HAD BEEN ON OURS FOR A COUPLE MINUTES WAITING FOR US TO SEND IT BACK. I'm no crazy health inspector but even I know that's a major violation. Then they gave us the correct dip which just amounted to beans with cheese that ended up burned on the bottom of a skillet. We had the ask for the guacamole which was supposed to be on the dip. Not a big deal compared to the rest, but notable.
Then they came with our entres, only to give my brother the wrong order and had to go back and make it. There was about 4 other people total in the dining area.
Finally, we didn't see dessert on the menu, but if they sell ice cream sandwiches I would advise your staff not to carry the great value box through the dining area. Definitely didnt ask once we saw that.
The drinks at least were super good but man, having lived in Las Vegas most of my life, I honestly regretted going here over the Chili's next door based on quality alone. I know its hard enough running a restaurant but if the owner reads this I would absolutely do a quality check on your sides and make sure your staff don't get you in huge trouble with the health department.

Me and my wife used to come regularly but last monday morning we went in and the female server kept forgetting our items multiple times. Once me and my wife were leaving we saw her outside in her vehicle which explained the strong smell of alcohol coming from her and her forgetfulness. Definitely not returning to this location after that.

The salsas were not your normal type you usually get. They were tasty and quite spicy. Our server was attentive and pleasant. She did a wonderful job. The food was also not your normal dining fare found in most Mexican restaurants. The crab and shrimp enchiladas were very tasty. If I am in the area, I would return to try other options.

Always love Mariscos Altamar! The Fishbowls are awesome, especially the pineapple coconut one & the silver coin margarita. The cucumber jalapeño shot is too die for too! I always love the carnival plate, the seafood flauta appetizer and the seafood cocktail. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience here; food, service or otherwise!

Vibrant restaurant in a charming building. Loved the veggie medley, but disappointed that the online and in-restaurant menus had not been updated to replace the pollock with tilapia. I like pollock but not tilapia, so I had to order Mexican food with chicken versus fish. Spoke to the owner about this, who was aware of it but had not updated the menus, but said that he would.

The food was absolutely phenomenal, the chili both red and green were delicious with enough bite without being terribly hot and the red chili was not grainy but rather was smooth and accented our food. Our server was Ashley and she was wonderful. She made sure our drinks were filled, brought ice water with both lemon and lime for our enjoyment, made sure that we had plenty of napkins and removed unnecessary dishes instead of leaving them on the table. A member of our party ordered a blended drink from the bar but unfortunately the blender decided to take the evening off. The bartender was not very happy about her equipment failure and came personally to our table to apologize as well as to offer her recommendations for an alternate drink. All in all are very pleasant evening and highly recommended.

Servers are really nice. Food comes out fast, but tepid. I only get chicken tacos, as I don't eat pork or beef, and I am afraid of eating fish or seafood in restaurants. Margaritas are nice. Prices are high.
