We always want to find a locally owned diner for breakfast and Rutilio's looked like the place. What are we looking for? Good food, good service, and a clean restaurant (and bathrooms, if I'm being honest!). Rutilio's met our expectations and more. Great food: huevos rancheros from the senior menu for me - a hearty portion with flavorful refried beans and a just right spicy green sauce for the eggs; blue corn breakfast enchiladas for my husband with perfectly cooked over-medium eggs and delicious cheese enchiladas. Excellent service - quick, pleasant, and on top of coffee refills plus tablets for order-taking! Everything was clean - showing pride of ownership I'm believing. I hope you give them a try and have a similar experience!

The food was good. The service excellent! The prices were pre-Covid! At least some people are being respectful by not pushing inflation! Thank you for a great first of many meals with you.

Food was good, not too spicy, and people were pretty decent. The atmosphere felt like a 70s diner.

I had the Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast. I seen pictures of it and had to see for myself on how big it is. It's humongous!! Took up the whole plate. Eggs were on spot (over medium)and the hash browns were good. Now for a extra $2.50 you can "Boss It" which is green chile and cheese with your white gravy. My waitress was phenomenal. Very Courteous she was. As for Ambiance,it was lively, people were talking, food was being distributed to customers, cooks were busy.

Our most favorite restaurant, they cook the best New Mexico style food by far. Diner style seating and feel. The greatest thing about this place is the people that work there. Friendly fun and attentive.

I tried this place and it was pretty good. Tons of people were here and we waited a good 30-45 to be seated for lunch. They do have warning signs that things are made fresh and take longer, however i think they are just short staffed. I ordered the chile rellanos however you spell it and it was pretty good, not exactly like we have it in chicago but it was good. Im told this is more texmex by my hispanic buddies so take that for what it is. Service was okay, staff was very friendly and fun however the kitchen just takes a very long time. Definitely would love to come back to try some other things. Thanks all and good luck!
