i have been here several times and it's usually amazing but today I ordered an enchilada plate the food in general was great but as i dug into my food a hair was on my fork coming from the inside of the food i literally pulled it out it i checked it and looked at it it was very clear it was not my hair having grey spots.i was honestly disgusted by the length of the hair. very sad i usually love this place hope it was only a one time thing

TERRIBLE service. If you are ok with waiting 2 hours for food, it coming COLD, no waiter around, paying 6 bucks for crumbs for chips, and them adding gratuity to your bill, have at it.

This place is a scam the food is terrible service is even worse then the food the manager himself charged my card 10$ more then he should have when confronted lost his temper and wouldn't take accountability when math was added they only got 1 star just so I could leave this review

The venue it's self is lovely nice out door space. But felt the service was sub par. I had to get my husband a refill had to look for server so we could get our check. The carne adovada was very flavorful

First and last time coming here The food is gross it's awful it is not that great My wife's egg was overcooked she ordered over easy after telling the waitress she told us well I didn't make the food and did nothing about it still charges for everything that was on her plate didn't take anything off The only thing she ate on her plate was the corn tortilla the red chili and the cheese didn't touch the beans didn't eat the potatoes didn't eat the eggs or the self upias cuz the eggs weren't done right I told the lady in the front about what happened she did nothing about it as well everybody looked at each other like they were morons anyways I still paid full price which I think I got ripped off for a corn tortilla soaked in red chili I don't recommend stopping here eating here or even bothering with this place they're just going to take your money and serve you crap

The enchiladas were amazing. Nice and cheesy with just a right amount of heat. Service is awesome and owners are very personable and welcoming. If you're ever in Los Lunas, NM, it's a must try.
I was so excited to have my company meeting at this restaurant . After moving back to this town since I was 10 years old , I had to visit because it was my favorite childhood restaurant . When we were seated our waitress was already pushy with us. She had pink hair and seemed to have a very stressed angry personality towards us . We asked if there was a price difference on the enchiladas with chicken vs the enchiladas with no chicken or meat . She said it costed the same . I went ahead and tried ordering the chicken enchiladas but the chicken put on the side for me . She insisted she would have to charge me more if I wanted them to do that . Me and my company were confused continuously since she kept mentioning it’s the same price but that she wouldn’t do that for us . She was talking so forcefully and loud at us that everyone in the place watched me stopped their meal concerned why she was talking to us aggressively and shaking :( . We were in shock that this has happened and we had to leave after she stormed off to tell her coworker and talk about us . It was disheartening. I do hope she is ok because she did seem to be taking out aggression upon us . If you have cameras I recommend watching them . And I do hope that this lady either gets trained better manners towards customers or needs a day off of work for personal problems . Truly saddened hope things get better for everyone

What the heck happened!!!
My family ordered me a whole Toledo Créme Cake for Mothers Day. This is not the first time my family ordered a whole cake for me as it is my favorite.
But it’s very disappointing it’s NOTHING like it used to be at all! Super dry and, very different plus skimping on the best part the cream cheese icing to boot. There is supposed to be icing between the layers, that’s why there are layers. Also the cake was never yellow. $55 bucks down the drain… I hope someone at least attempts to make things right here. We have been guests for decades and it just keeps getting worse. In fact the last time we visited we spent $80 for 3 people and the Teofilo’s Carne Adovada, is not so special anymore, and the papitas are something you’d find in a hospital cafeteria.
Just like everyone else in this day and age we work hard for our income, and try to keep our spending local. But also expect good quality food and service in return.
