The best BBQ in the area smoked and prepared by great people who know what they are doing. If you’re in the mood for a great BBQ sandwich, ribs, or even nachos, pay Maria, Al, and Z a visit. If you like spicy, the hot bbq sauce is the bomb. But this is New Mexico, add green chile too! They are located at Tractor Brewing, so the food can go great with a cold one. Or get it takeout. If you’re just passing through they are conveniently very close to the freeway. You will definitely be back for more anyway!
I travel a lot and eat lots of different BBQ joints. And this bbq sauce is on my all time best list. The owners are a lovely, fun, kind and extremely hospitable couple with a ton of genuine love for both their craft and their staff. The menu is small but they put their all into every bit of food. The yams specifically go crazy. You owe it to yourself to support this fantastic local small business. But come early cus quantities are limited. Worth every penny.

I got a little bit of everything just to see? wow you missing out if you have not been to thia place. The thought the price was a little steep but when I looked at the true quality of everything and how amazing it was sooo worth every dollar . And I can not forget the customer service, this place knows how to treat there customers in every way I miss amazing customers service like this you just can't wait to go back . The owner and staff were terrific. Got there and talked with owner/pitmaster. He recommended the ribs and he was right! After we finished, he asked if we wanted try the pork. Tender, moist and flavorful. We also were asked to try the beans made by an employee. If all you get is a bowl of beans, the stop is worth it! I thought I made good beans, but these caused me to reassess my recipe. Also had live music by an interesting artist. Love the place!Cold brew!

I was so excited to dig in I didn't get a picture!!This is the #1 spot for Bbq- probably in all of NM. I can definitely vouch that it is from Taos to San Acacia.Al & Maria have this down to a T!!I give it 10 stars out of 10.I'll be traveling down from Santa Fe for this pulled pork & brisket!*my 7 year said "Mom you can travel around the world and you wouldn't find BBQ as good as that!!!"
