This was the best place I ever surprised my husband for his birthday. You get the full experience from the moment you knock on the door! The food was delicious, the drinks are to die for and the music was beautiful. Our waitress was fantastic and answered all our questions. We asked for a tour after dinner and it was so awesome to walk around and see everything they had to offer and even told us about the famous people who dines with them

The experience, from the time you knock on the door until you walk out the back door is unlike any other in Albuquerque! The food, the service, and the atmosphere were outstanding!

The door man Tommy potatoes was a nice touch , he and his baseball bat. Ambience was nice and quiet, food was absolutely fabulous . Drinks were exquisite . Waiters were very attentive and GM was very nice especially because he was a Bills fan. We definitely will be back.

Our server, Jordan, the sommelier, made the night. His knowledge, expertise, and personality made for a wonderful celebration of our anniversary. All of the other staff we encountered were amazing as well.

We celebrated our anniversary and our daughter and son in laws anniversary. It was a special evening. Our server, Gloria, was attentive and the food was excellent. First time for daughter and SIL and they loved every minute!

We celebrated our anniversary at Vernon's. Everything was top notch. We received a text detailing what we needed to know before we go. Once we arrived, we had an experience of a lifetime. The staff were on point, very attentive and nice. The food was delicious and the ambience was refreshing. We had an amazing time and it was a most memorable experience. We'll definitely go back and tell all our friends.

Wonderful & different experience for sure. After you are allowed in after providing the password you are transported to a Chicago/ New Jersey speakeasy. The food & service were outstanding! Great music as well. Great for special occasions.

An amazing experience. Great food, great service and wonderful entertainment. Starting from the knock on the door to the gift shop at the exit. 5 star from beginning to end!

Ambiance - We were excited to go per the lead-in marketing. The directions, arrival, decor, host behavior were all on par for a good speakeasy vibe. Sadly, it pretty much stopped once we sat at our table - what seemed was gimmicky at first should have carried out through our evening. Service - our server was AMAZING! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food - inconsistent. Scallop appetizer was great. Elk steak was amazing considering it's unusual. Lobster was overcooked - so tough it was inedible (it was removed from the bill). Crème Brûlée was perfect. Value - a bit expensive compared to other restaurants. Didn't like having to order 1 entree per person when I could have ordered 2 appetizers and a salad (which would have been more profitable for the restaurant). If you charge me what you want I should be able to order what I want.

Had a fantastic experience at Vernon's. Once past the anxiety of having the right password, the food, the drinks, the service, and the ambience were all great. Everything (cocktails, lobster bisque, salad, elk, filet mignon) was top notch. The waiter, Jose, was attentive and pleasant without being overbearing. Will be back!

It had been 10 years since I'd been to Vernon's. I've been living in Japan for a decade. The food and the service were excellent. It was so black. I don't remember it being so black before. Walls were black, black curtains everywhere. Just a personal preference but some color would've been nice. 1920s art deco artwork. Something. Anyway, the food and incomparable service more than made up for it. Very fun place to go. Don't forget your password!

We had an amazing time! We were seated right up front near the musician. He played beautifully and made for a great date night. I enjoyed my favorite salmon with strawberry sauce so delicious!! My husband enjoyed his dinner as well he ordered the fish special (the name escapes me at the moment) we much enjoyed the appetizer frito mixto always our favorite and if you haven't already try the bread pudding oh so good!! Our server was attentive and kept our wine glasses full!!! Can't wait for our next visit
