Very disappointed with this restaurant. Came for Christmas Eve dinner with the family. My fish tasted so off it was inedible. My mom had the same and agreed. The “gnocchi” it came with disolved into the sauce. The pickle appetizer was also so vinegar forward it was inedible. My field salad was wilted and brown.

I have had nice brunches there- but this experience makes me not want to return.

Was going through my phone and remembered about a lovely full moon summer dinner at Campo. This was in August and I'm sure the menu has changed for winter but thought I should leave my review here anyway.
I just love this place so so much. The food is always delicious and presented super beautifully. The drinks are well made and Iove that they come up with creative recipes to best use the local farm products.
I love visiting their shop and am looking forward to seeing the lavender farms next year in full bloom. HIGHLY recommend dinner on the patio on a warm full moon evening. Absolutely splendid especially as the sun sets over the Sandias.

First time experience. With reservations., Seated 45 minutes after reservation with zero explanation, staff expects more respect and consideration than they afford their customers. Staff completely uncaring about service. No service for food until 30 minutes after seating. So a total of 1 1/2 hours after reservation until even asked if we wanted dinner. Took 15 minutes to get water. LOL but not really because their lack of service, care and respect set the tone. Food served warm, little to no heat to our food, all four plates sat before serving. No one finished their meal, underwhelming and the steak so fatty it went home uneaten (was ordered medium, served rare) Seasonal veggies were just cabbage. Tasteless. No desserts ordered because we were an afterthought to our server. Shame on Campos, underwhelming and a complete disappointment. Will never recommend, will never be back. We feel cheated out of our holiday experience.
They really don't care. Utterly mediocre and not worth your time and money.

We had a Christmas party at El Campo and it was fantastic! The food was Devine. Adam was our server and was SOOO attentive to our table of 13! Matt the manager sat us in a different area to still take care of us as there were other reservations. He felt bad and paid for all our drinks. That was just a kind gesture!

Went on a solo date to La Quinta for the afternoon tea service and it was absolutely magical. Delicious treats and tea. I also got the champagne cocktail which is one of my new favorite cocktails at Los Poblanos! Highly recommend!

I've now been a few times. Beautiful scenery, a very cute place to celebrate special occasions. Service is usually okay, not horrible but not really good either. The food is mostly very exceptional but it's important to note that there is virtually no flexibility regarding the menu. If you don't like a certain ingredient that comes on the plate, they will not leave it off or make any changes. The visual atmosphere is extremly nice but the vibes are a bit stiff.

I love Campo. The food is always excellent. The drinks are tasty. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant is somehow rustic and modern at the same time. The kitchen is beautiful. Regardless of whether you have brunch or dinner, Campo will not disappoint.

What an incredible experience!

Campo at Los Poblanos is an upscale, reservation-only restaurant located at the 3-star Los Poblanos Historic Inn & Organic Farm in the village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque. They bill themselves as “casual fine dining”. The restaurant has a number of accolades, including chef Christopher Bethoney being a semifinalist for 2024’s James Beard Award’s Best Chef Southwest. It is located in a restored dairy building on the property. The grounds are beautiful.

The menus are seasonal and the restaurant has separate breakfast, lunch, dinner, bar, and dessert menus. They last changed over the week of October 14, 2024.

We went for dinner and the server had us choose between still (non-carbonated) or sparkling water. There was a complimentary amuse-bouche of puréed squash with two roasted pepitas and a small garnish on top. For an appetizer we had the ceviche, which was “seasonal fish, cilantro, lime, pickled
green chile, and house-made corn tostadas” on a bed of lettuce for $20. It was refreshing and light.

For an entree, I ordered one of the “pasta hecha en casa” (homemade pasta) options, which was the carrot cavatelli. The dish consisted of lemon-chicken sausage, green chile cream, charred carrots, and chicken-skin bread crumbs. It was delicious! It was flavorful, and the crunch of the chicken skin was welcome against the soft pasta.

For dessert we had the Mile High New Mexican, which was described as a “kind of boozy hot chocolate”. It had LP hot chocolate mix, house-herbal liqueur, and aged cachaço. It was a nice after dinner treat.

The service was exceptional. It was attentive without being overbearing and she answered all our questions. She explained there was a sommelier onsite, and that the corn in their recipes had been through nixtamalization (treated with lye) to make it more “bio accessible”.

There weren’t any specials, and the food menu was only a page, but what they had they did very well so endless options weren’t necessary. I’d absolutely recommend this restaurant!
