One of my favorite places to eat when traveling through New Mexico. Lunch specials are HUGE!!!

Sadie's is a must for us at least every few months. There's usually enough parking available every time we go. We like to show up early on Friday evening, like 5 o'clock and we are seated right away. They are well known for such good service. Most of the time, the waiters/waitresses stay on top of refilling chips and salsa and they keep drinks filled. Their fresh salsa hands down is the best there is. I highly recommend their fried green chile strips, so good. We didn't have to wait long for our meals. The food here is always great. After our meal, we enjoyed our sopapillas. The sound of the restaurant wasn't too bad. This is something my husband struggles with at various places. Perhaps it was our earlier dinner time. Although I didn't visit the restroom this time, I can say that the bathrooms are usually clean and well supplied. They have a little gift shop, where you can get the jarred salsa among other things.

Service was extremely good. Portions were more than satisfying. Fairly spicy but that is expected in the Southwest. Great sopapillas for desert. Green, red or 'Christmas' sauces available, depending on your tolerance of heat.

The menu has changed a bit but it's still the same chile and salsa. Like everywhere else prices have gone up but the food is amazing.

I come here for the food - it has improved over the years CONSIDERABLY! Could the service be a little better? Yes. It has that Albuquerque robotic feel about it, rushed and impersonal. Not welcoming. But hey - I love the food and their prices are somewhat reasonable still. Went to Garduños and Lotola's the other day - had to mortgage my house!

Had an amazing lunch here on our first visit. Excellent service. The lunch specials were well prepared, fresh and delicious and generous. If that's not enough, they provide fresh Sopaipillas and iced tea (on request).

Delicious food, great service. Ate at the bar to avoid the wait. There were regulars that were friendly and had food recommendations. We tried the stuffed sopapillas with spicy beef. So good!!

This place is wonderful, came highly recommend by the locals. We are visiting from Dallas and told this was the best for authentic New Mexico cuisine and it did not disappoint. The green chili stew with garlic bread was just the right amount of spicy, so delicious I would love the recipe, and the grilled taco shells on the taco plate with spicy beef were delightful. Our server was attentive and helpful. Top notch. Go try Sadie's if you're in Albuquerque! They even have a gift shop!
