My coworkers and I have been enjoying the Ivy Tearoom for about 3 years now. We try to go once a month. We love the ambiance, the tea, and the food. It is always a new experience. The service is friendly and attentive. It's a wonderful place to connect with friends and enjoy a relaxing afternoon.
The organization of the courses was a little all over the place. We were given our second course so quickly that it rushed the first course and then the third course we waited a bit for. The food and tea was just okay. The sugar at the table is just packed raw sugar, which creates a lot of trash. A tea room should have both white and brown sugar available. The workers are not as professional as I would have expected from a tea room. I will say, I did LOVE their blue jasmine tea...
I’ve been coming to Ivy Tea Room for years, and unfortunately, I left pretty disappointed after my most recent visit. The portions have noticeably shrunk—especially the scones, and prices have gone up, which makes the value feel lacking.
