Lovely setting, but they play loud rock music through the speakers inside and out, which ruins the atmosphere. I’d rather listen to the fountain and the birds. Seems like the staff is trying to create a bar atmosphere ill-suited to the environment.
Nice entry and exit drive which allows you to drive through their vineyards. Recommend going with their four glasses tasting for the experience and sitting on the outdoor patio.
Most beautiful surroundings with fun wine tasting room.
A perfect historic New Mexico setting for some wine and good views. Try the wine tasting options during your stay- you won’t be disappointed!
Me and my boyfriend were members before we moved out of state and honestly... this is maybe the only thing I'll miss about Albuquerque, you gotta go! Their staff can tell you anything about any of the wines and if you're getting some snacks, can't go wrong with a charcuterie board.

Casa Rondeña is absolutely beautiful! It's a great place for a girls day or a family day! The wine is incredible, this is a hidden gem in Albuquerque, make sure to stop by if you're here for a trip or Balloon Fiesta! Note: Only members can eat at the 1629 restaurant.
Relaxing. Great staff. Great wines. Need to live next door.
We are frequent guests at Casa Rondena. The food at the 1629 Club never disappoints. Cristiano is friendly and welcoming and Chef Suzanne, his wife, offers seasonally changing, creative dishes. Robert and Jason are always welcoming to the tasting room, and knowledgeable about the current wines and vintages. They are able to offer suggestions if you don't know what you want. This place is a jewel in the Los Ranchos area of Albuquerque. You really do feel transported. It is especially fun to visit during Balloon Fiesta to see the cottonwoods changing color and to meet people from, literally, all over the world. It can get crowded during Balloon Fiesta but you'll definitely make a lot of new friends!
The setting for this Winery is a one in a million! You feel like you have just walked into a winery in Italy! You drive in through the vineyards and walk into a warm and charming atmosphere! I was helped by Michelle, she was outstanding! I was so pleased with the knowledge of the wines and great friendly service! I came to select wines to take to a family visit in Indiana. I will definitely be back again soon!

This place was only 10 minutes from the hotel that we were staying at. Since it was still early, got to stop by. It was a little tricky finding the entrance, they are two exits. Could not decide what wine to get, the Summer Flight was suggested. Four different wine. We also got a glass of Rondeña Sparkling Wine, this is very good. They do have indoor seating that fills up fast. There is also out door seating, and there is a water mister. They also have cheese plates, crackers and chocolates for sale.
Visiting from Texas with a local friend. She recommended this cozy spot for girls day out. Robert helped us out in the tasting room and he was beyond helpful while customizing my flight. This place was perfect!!
A girlfriend and I visited Casa Rondeña for the first time and had the best experience. A quiet escape from the busy city, Casa Rondeña was a perfect change of pace. From the property and all it’s picturesque beauty, to the education and friendliness of Robert and the great tasting wines, Casa Rondeña did not disappoint. We will be back again!
Spend a wonderful day with my better half here Casa Rondeña winery. This place is paradise right in the middle of Albuquerque. Had the pleasure of chatting and being served by Robert Morrison the General Manager. He was a great host and answered all the questions we had. Very knowledgeable when it comes to wine. Please check this place out if you’re looking for a nice get away for the afternoon. Ask for Robert.
