The Mine Shaft Tavern & Cantina offers an eclectic, old west feel with a live stage in front of a vintage steam engine. The food is matched with the scenery, and the staff, like RP, are attentive and intuitive. It's a fun spot, especially on Memorial Day weekend. The kid menu could have more options, but the chicken strips are delicious. The restaurant is wheelchair-accessible, and the Blues festival with huge plates of crawfish, shrimp, and potato fries is fantastic.
