Very peaceful overnight stop, we were alone. Unfortunately, the tavern is for sale and looks to be trying to “wind down” business. No more food service, open only Fri-Sat nights, and currently of 18 different beer taps 11 were “out”. Judging by the back yard area, this place looks to have been a happening spot in its heyday.
Back when my husband was my boyfriend. We used to come here on dates. Fast forward 24 years we went to eat a pizza. Just like we used to do. However, they were out of pizza and we're like oh well. So we left. It was sad. They said they didn't have enough staff to make pizza but they were still making burgers, chicken strips and mixed drinks. 🤯
This place looks like a dive bar in the middle of nowhere but it's a great hangout spot. The staff are welcoming and awesome, the various events are always good, and one night there was NO POWER but they stayed open as long as they could with flashlights and battery powered lanterns! Sweet place!
