We only visited the cafe for breakfast, but it was fantastic. The food took a while to come to the table, but when it did, it was worth the wait. The portions were huge and the price can’t be beat. I’ll definitely be back.

Iv held back from leaving this place a review in the past in hopes that it gets better but unfortunately nobody takes any pride in running this place. Some of the worse food I have ever had. Beans and rice are always from the day before, dry and old. Burgers are dry and always over cooked. Most of the entrees are bland and taste like the food was prepared days before and the plate was just put into the microwave. Any advice you give the staff, they ignore. I can never trust that my food will come out the way I asked for it. Just a tip, put some salt in your food.

We've been into the cafe twice now, once for pizza & it was delicious! My husband has gotten a western burger, & was honestly the biggest hamburger I've ever seen! I got a club and it was big enough for 2 meals, my big 17 year old son ate the other half when we got home, and was full! We do want to try more of the menu, and DO highly recommend you get in there & get you some!

Heard the food here was fantastic unfortunately it wasn’t for us. Went on Sunday 9-16-24. They ere not busy like we expected. All of our plates were cold but still overcooked. Service was just OK, older lady had no personality. Everything was extremely overpriced. I asked for a bowl of gravy die not enough on my Chicken fried steak. Waiter still charged me $2.25 for a small extra small bowl of gravy. Took just about all my Chicken fry home with me. I can say my dogs did enjoy this $15.00 dollar Chicken fry. Just

I recently visited Mayhill Café, and I must express my disappointment with the experience. Upon arriving, I was informed by a particularly rude, loud waitress that my 4 pound service dog had to be placed on the floor, despite the fact that service dogs are legally allowed to stay with their handlers. Her demeanor was both unprofessional and embarrassing, as she made no effort to speak quietly, making sure that everyone in their restaurant could hear her. This lack of respect, not only affected my dining experience, but also created an uncomfortable atmosphere for other patrons.

We went to the Mayhill cafe for lunch. We both had their Patty melt sandwich with french fries & sweet tea. Our Waitress was awesome & our meal was made by someone that actually knew the right way to make it.

I went to grab a bite yesterday around 1a.m June 11 2024 I'm 38 weeks pregnant and there was only one waitress I didn't mind waiting to be seated but there were open tables so I sat down I was out of breath yes it gets tiring just standing at this point in my pregnancy didn't think it would be a big deal the waitress came so rudely asking if we're were dining in I said yes and she stormed away directing me and my fiance to another table I didn't mind again we sat she wiped some filth with her bare hand off the table while we sat there pretty much getting crumbs spread on us and rudely asked what we wanted to drink i said water witch I felt rushed and irritated as to why I kept it simple I really wanted something else and then my fiance asked about the pizza she was so rude about it that they only serve it on Wednesdays and stormed off again I didn't feel welcomed at all so I left and me and my fiance are never going back that was our second bad experience there not going back to get let down again..

Reserved a double bed room for one night. The room was very spacious. Beds are comfy. Room includes 2 leather recliners, a fireplace and a dining table. You can walk out to the deck and sit on a rocker while relaxing and looking at the mountain. Under you is a Cafe. We will be eating there for breakfast in the morning. Next door is a little general store, beware, Mayhill is dry, so no alcohol sold at the store. ? one unique thing to prepare for is that the bathroom is not in the room, ours is across the hall and has the same keypad to get in as our door. Across the street is a cute little grassy area where you can picnic or the kids can run around. Overall, it has some charm and quirks but worked for a one night stay.
