The layout is a little chaotic. The front where you arrive is also where all of the servers are running food. It's loud but it's in a casino so that was somewhat expected. Service was very slow, we waited over 20 minutes before ordering and about that before getting our appetizers. The elk skewers were very good as was my filet. My husband's NY strip was thinly cut and over his preference. We didn't send it back because it had taken so long to get in the first place. The sauce that was served with the asparagus was not warm and was very gross. The asparagus itself was cooked perfectly but needed seasoning. My husband had ordered a baked potato and was not offered any accompaniment. It was served completely plain, no butter or anything. No one wants a dry potato. For an almost $200 meal, it was not a good value. Our waitress was very professional and kind just busy doing table side orders.

Wonderful birthday dinner! The live guitar by Gerardo created the perfect atmosphere. Clean restaurant, delicious steaks and tortilla soup, and a complimentary birthday dessert. Excellent, attentive service and a top-notch manager, Carter. Try the chocolate and French Kiss Martinis!!

I have been going to Wendells for 7 years. i go there once a week for those years. i know the restaurant well. the main reason i go is because of the guitarist Gerardo who plays there. He makes the food taste better with his beautiful melodious music. he is a treasure. The day i go to Wendells is the best day of the week for me. The food, the music, the ambiance, the people are all first rate. I encourage everyone i know to go hear Gerardo play. It will change your life as it has done for me.

Wendell's served us fantastic meals as usual. The scallops and lobster were delicate and perfectly cooked. The Caesar salad was just the right size. The bread and butter were delicious. My cocktail (blackberry sage martini) was delightful. It was our anniversary so the restaurant gave us a complimentary dessert, and we chose prickly pear baked Alaska, which was scrumptious. Our server was bubbly yet professional. Everything about the evening was perfect.

I have eaten at here at least 30X and last night‘s visit was the worst. My food was overcooked and when replaced with something else, it was cold no manager came by and I still paid for my full meal while not eating it.

Wonderful Valentines evening. We had the pre-fixe menu with wine pairings. The view, the server, our sommelier and the food were all fabulous. The wine pairings were perfectly done and we enjoyed the experience. The Chef and the manager did a quick check in with us and our party all had a nice night.

It was delightful and delicious! Great service! The ambience was lovely, and we sat by the window for the beautiful view. All of our steaks were cooked to perfection, and the yukon gold mashed potatoes were the perfect combination. We had the table side Caesar Salad, and our waiter did a great job!
