Ive been going to chelas since they first opened for business. All tho the burritoz and tortas have gotten smaller and more pricier, chelas is still one of my favorite places to eat from.

Parking: They could definately use more parking space at the mesquite location.

This place is very good every time. I go. I get chili Relleno it’s good but sometimes it’s never hot. One thing about me my husband is Mexican and can’t handle chili but from being white. I could handle chili pretty well???.. they’re bean burrito is absolutely delicious too. And there’s shrimp tacos are delicious.

Worth taking a detour off the interstate on a road trip. Authentic Mexican food. We had the Papas Locos and a couple burritos. It was all excellent! We also purchased some homemade snacks and desserts for the road. So far those of been excellent also.
