We needed a place to stop for refreshments and then decided to eat here since the place looked super cool! This is a no frills, nostalgic diner with superb service. Our kiddos were fussy from being in the car so our waitress came over to give us crackers and snacks while we waited for food. They were super attentive and friendly to us as a family, it was such a refreshing stop. I would recommend the fried chicken basket and chocolate malt shake. The rice bowl wasn't bad but...
What a charming little place! Not a place of you are in a big hurry (we were not). One waitress and one cook but everything exactly as we ordered. Yummy “chips” aka sliced potatoes fried. Nothing pre-cooked so very fresh. I have the rice bowl with steak and five choice veggies lightly salted in oil. My option was light but son had the smash burger!
