The good things about my meal were that the pork ribs were good and the cowboy beans were really good. The downsides were that the bbq sauce they put on the ribs was refrigerator cold and the cole slaw tasted like fish that had been in the fridge for several days - really not good. But I'll go back and try some of their seafood or maybe a pulled pork sandwich or something like that. I definitely will not be ordering the cole slaw.
Food is delicious! Owners are awesome people! Super friendly and inviting.
This is a really good place to eat! I highly recommend stopping in and eating some BBQ and getting the crab boil!

Da People’s Choice BBQ & Seafood is the best BBQ place in Moriarty, hands down, and a highly recommended must-stop. The food is on point, amazing, phenomenal, and absolutely delicious with great seasoning on everything. The smoked meats like brisket, pork, turkey legs, chicken, and a solid rack of ribs are over the top with flavor. Popular items include pulled pork BBQ sandwiches, which are huge, the Swamp Thing po’ boy, crab boil, jumbo baked stuffed potatoes, and fantastic sides. These superb sides include onion rings, fries, fried okra, cowboy beans, collard greens, and mac n cheese.
The owners and staff are so nice, friendly, incredibly personable, and loving to their customers, providing the best service. They create a great environment, welcoming guests even near closing and handling parties with ease. The smell from the smokers tickles your tastebuds before walking in the door. For anyone traveling on Highway 40 or in the area, this is a definite must-stop to eat.
