Very disappointed in this restaurant 😒 I went in there today 3/10/26,and for the second time they were closed due to having no waitress, I drove 30mi round-trip to eat there 🤨🤬very disappointed, I come out of the hills to take care of business, I spent my 30dollars elsewhere 🤨💸I'll never go there again, they've lost my 30$$💸business for good 🤔🤨🤷to bad 🤨🤷💸the food is great when they're open 🤬🤬🤨🤷what is it, poor management or bad employee pool,or is it both 🤷🤷🤔🤷

Spacy diner with excellent home cooking, super friendly service and nostalgia, relaxed atmosphere. Pool tables for those who enjoy more than just a diner experience. We had burgers and home fries, fresh and very tasty. Refillable pink lemonade! Right on historic route 66!

Rilee our server was courteous, explained the menu, was friendly. Ordered the taco, enchiladas and Chile relleno plate. It was delicious, not to mention no skimping on the amount of food on my plate. On our way to Albuquerque from Brownsville, texas will definitely stop again. No regrets stopping to eat at Double C's.
We love Caytano and his restaurant. Be sure and have a New Mexican dish. Such a deal for the price

Good food fast. Friendly staff. Large portions, even though they were out of chicken fried steak, the chicken fried chicken was just as big, the mashed potatoes and roll was awesome with the gravy.
