Rilee our server was courteous, explained the menu, was friendly. Ordered the taco, enchiladas and Chile relleno plate. It was delicious, not to mention no skimping on the amount of food on my plate. On our way to Albuquerque from Brownsville, texas will definitely stop again. No regrets stopping to eat at Double C's.

Good food fast. Friendly staff. Large portions, even though they were out of chicken fried steak, the chicken fried chicken was just as big, the mashed potatoes and roll was awesome with the gravy.

Can't really rate this place's food or because it was closed at 4 PM on the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend even though it was clearly within it's service hours. Looked a bit austere from the outside.

This is roadside diner food like I remember it! Home cooking style meals, ample portions , and friendly service. The chicken fried steak sandwich has a piece of steak so big it had to be cut in half and stacked to fit on the bread, and there was no way my husband could finish it. The tacos were really good too. I was a sucker for the onion rings. This is definitely going on our keepers list!
