I've been checking almost bi weekly to see if shorty's would open up so I can have their pizza again. Truly a gem of a place, I wish I'd known about it sooner.

This place needs to change their status to permanately closed . The owner put up a video on Facebook stating they weren't reopening this year and the restaurant is for sale . However there is a hot dog cart selling hot dogs, frito pies and snow cones outside . This is extremely disappointing to our community as we are already lacking in restaurant options and the owners have toyed with all of our emotions for the last few years with limited hours,limited months open ,limited days open after many years of them being a community staple . I understand this economy is difficult for small businesses, restaurants imparticular so close if that's what you need to do but quit dangling your restaurant in front of everyone only disappoint us all .

Would love to review but I've been trying to eat at this place for over a year and I have no idea how they have reviews because they're never open ever ... response says they're open June through December but I was there in November and they were closed the entire 11 days I was in the area .

The food here is awesome! I needed a quick bite on my way through town and I saw this place. Let me tell you small town BBQ is not just done well but is done to perfection at this little place. The decore inside won’t be for everyone, but who cares when you got brisket this good. I had the chopped brisket sandwich, and my god it was like eating moms slow cooked love on home made roll of grandma’s secret recipe for a long life. Dang this was good. Definitely making a stop here again in the near future. I don’t live close or I would live in the lobby. Good God almighty visit this place yesterday. You won’t regret it.

Wow!!! Such a hidden gem of a restaurant. Food was delicious and affordable. Staff was truly amazing and kind. Banana split was out of this world.

Beware! They no longer post their prices any where. I ordered 3 sandwiches with 2 pint size sides and was charged over $60. Been going there for years, but no more.
