Such a disappointment. The Ojo restaurant used to reflect a high food-IQ with organic produce and locally-raised meats from properly fed animals (no CAFO meats). But this dinner menu was a generic menu catering to generic tourists. The northern NM cuisine offerings were bland and tasteless - I ordered a mole chicken dinner, and the sauce was definitely NOT a mole ... instead of cacao and chili (like a mole is supposed to be) it was more like a white cream sauce with a weird pink color. Come on Ojo ... it's time to return to the high food-IQ you used to have!
We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and each time our food was not hot. Just warm. We had to have the soup taken back, which they did without a problem. It's just not up to the standards we have seen in the past.
Enjoyed a relaxing day in the hot springs ppols and then Thanksgiving dinner after. Couldn't have been a better day. Food was delicious and service was excellent. The turkey dinner was as close to home made as you can get and rack of lamb was escellent.
My husband's dinner was the mole, it was a delicate and unique sauce. My enchiladas were quite disappointing on the other hand. It was plain green chili, not a sauce at all and not really unique in any way. So disappointed! The beans were delicately cooked but had no real flavor, no added spice on any kind, kind of boring. I'll plan to bring my own picnic next time.
The springs are incredible, but lodging is far over priced for what's offered. Spa procedures were unclear and led for a frustrating experience.
We spent a beautiful day relaxing at Ojo Caliente, and our visit was made even more special by a delicious meal at the Artesian Restaurant. It's the perfect way to refuel after soaking in the mineral pools—thoughtful food, fresh ingredients, and a cozy, peaceful atmosphere. 🥗 What We Ordered: •Poblano Fries – Perfectly crispy with just the right amount of heat. The creamy dipping sauce took it to the next level. A must-try! •Beet Salad with Grilled Chicken – Beautifully balanced with earthy roasted beets, fresh greens, and tender grilled chicken. Light, nourishing, and satisfying—exactly what we were craving after the pools. 🍴 Why We Loved It: •Ingredients tasted fresh and locally inspired, and portions were just right. •The restaurant space is warm, rustic, and full of natural light, with friendly staff and a calm vibe that matches the serenity of the spa. •You don't have to dress up—come as you are, relaxed and mineral-soaked, and enjoy a beautiful, flavorful meal. 📍 Tip: Make a reservation if you're visiting on the weekend, and give yourself a little time to just sit and enjoy the surroundings. The views from the patio are lovely! — Whether you're staying overnight or just visiting the springs for the day, don't skip the Artesian Restaurant at Ojo Caliente. It's one of those rare places where the food is just as healing as the waters.
The Artesian Restaurant at Ojo Caliente Resort is a very convenient venue to enjoy a wide selection of menu items from appetizer to dessert. Jacob, our Server, was friendly, attentive, and courteous. He consistently checked on us throughout our dinner, and we never felt overlooked or neglected. We enjoyed a hearty ceviche appetizer, Pasta Pomodoro with Shrimp, and also a Scottish Salmon. Finishing off with NY Cheesecake with fresh berries. A very satisfying dinner experience with outstanding service!!
Beautiful restaurant, nice atmosphere, scrumptious food!! Highly recommend the salmon & chocolate cake was to die for!
We had a lovely time, wonderful server and vibe. We lived the chile rellleno, kale salad and chocolate cake was out of this world.
It was an off night , I think the kitchen got overwhelmed on Saturday night since our dishes took an hour and the fajitas were over cooked . The wait staff and hostess were great. We will go again but ideally on a less busy night . It's nice to have a soak after a nice meal.

Beautiful atmosphere, wonderful food, slower service than usual, but short staff at present. If resolved 5 stars.
Healthy and hearty offerings that showcase New Mexico cultural favorites. A real asset to the spa
The food was never better. Food quality perfection and the flavors were too. We have been coming to Ojo for many years and always enjoy the f&b. Our waiter (Joshua, I think) was a delight, and each and every person was caring. I highly recommend .
We had an amazing experience. The food was great, every single person on our party was delighted with their food. We also had breakfast here and it was delicious. The service was great. You cannot miss this experience when you visit Ojo.
Food was mediocre at best. Green chili soup was tasteless. Bruschetta was on large thick piece of toast with a small piece of mozzarella and small pieces of cut up of tomatoes. Disappointing. And to top it off one of the tables in the small dining area had three individuals who were talking loud the whole time during our meal.
