Was it busy all day for Valentine's Day? I'm sure! So maybe it was an off day. However the food and service were lacking. Food was overly salted and missing ingredients. We were not served something we ordered and it remained on the bill and seemed like a bother to take off. Our food did come out promptly which was great as we were hungry. But everything else was really lacking. My water cup was empty for the entire meal evening even after asking for a refill. The restaurant...
The Artesian Restaurant at the Ojo Caliente Spa is excellent. We dined there both nights during our stay at the mineral hot springs and thought our meals were well-prepared and flavorful. The service also is excellent.
We stayed for 4 nights and 4 people eating dinner each night. The food choices are very different from the norm and each is as tasty as the next. Vegetarian choices are unique and expertly crafted. The pasta and farm salads were by far the most popular with our group. The Chicken Fajitas were very tasty and the portion too large for one sitting. We heard raves about the beef and will try it tonight for our anniversary dinner. The hot springs are our favorite place for R&R!
