So nice and friendly! Loved the atmosphere will be back!
Spent about 45 min-1 hr here sipping some wine and talking to the owner. Wine vas very good and even bought a couple bottles. Had a great time. Nice little stop on the way to Jemez Springs!
Delicious wines! The Dry Resiling was fantastic! Great stop if you’re in Jemez!
We found the winery exploring the area. This is a hidden gem! I really appreciate visiting a winery that has a working vineyard. The tasting room is a bit small but quaint, showcasing all of the Ponderosa Valley awards and gifts from local artisans. There is also outside seating to enjoy the epic views! We enjoyed our tasting while chatting with the owner Mary. The wine did not disappoint and We left with 3 bottles of wine!
Worth the stop. So many wines are delicious. Summer Sage was fabulous. You'll be in someone's home tasting at a counter. The wines are fabulous. If you know how to handle your dog you'll do fine with the white one that is territorial on premises. The other darker dog on premises is generally just curious. Both are people friendly. Our well behaved foster dog came in a slept at our feet inside during our tasting. The two elderly dogs calm down if owners handle their pet well & don't stop walking for dogs to meet face to face which is not good pet handling. We ended up taking several bottles of delicious wine & enjoyed some camping. Mary was great to talk to.
Amazing wine and great owner!! The doggies are so sweet as well
Very sweet lady running the winery. We ended up buying a whole case because so many of the wines are delicious. Highly recommended stopping by here if you're headed up to jemez springs
This is not your typical winery visit, but it is an experience. My mom and I enjoyed the wines. The two dogs that seem to have caused some negative reviews are old and must have calmed down; they just lazed around. A couple came in wanting to confirm they followed her “directions” properly, which apparently was to leave their dogs in their hot car out on the road while they came in to sample wines… didn’t love that the owner requested that of them personally. She should keep her dogs in the house, it’s a business. And wineries are usually very dog-friendly.
The sample area is able to accommodate 6 ppl and the room is cluttered to the max. Lots of blue ribbons and awards and I would say that definitely is reflected in their wine, it was really good. They sell truffles for $0.50 each which she said come out in Nov (it was May and they are supposed to be kept refrigerated after opened). My mom gets the same ones by the box at Sam’s club every Nov.
Overall, we enjoyed ourselves, just be ready to talk to random (sometimes interesting) strangers and I would not recommend coming with your dog(s).
Really enjoyed tasting and learning more about NM wines from owner Mary Street. Bought a Pinot Noir and the Summer Sage. I will return. I also enjoyed her absolutely lovely two Great Pyrenees dogs. They were part of the winery and completely non-aggressive. I enjoyed giving them belly rubs before and after the tasting.
I just got back from a hike this afternoon and wanted to stop by the winery for wine tasting. As a former tasting associate in Sonoma and Napa never have I had a winery dog attack a customer’s car. Two big dogs jumped at my car, their owner never attempted to detain or get her dogs under control. My new car got scratched up and didn’t even let me get out of my car to assess damages. Her dogs then chased us down the hwy for 1/2 a mile out of control. She pointed her fingers at me…there is no warning in their website. Negligent and unsafe.

The owner was so nice, friendly and attentive. Everything we tasted was amazing. I ended up leaving with a few bottles and I will be going back again when visiting the area.
We had a great time here. Southwestern charm.
Love coming to the winery for a short day drive from ABQ. The tasting room is super quaint and the south facing porch is delightful in the warm winter sun. Summer Sage is our personal favorite wine from this wine maker.
Great service, Halloween decorations were awesome, and Luna the dog was so friendly along with the other two dogs. Great place to visit, thank you Mary!
Had a wonderful time with great wine and a beautiful scenery!
