Friday for brunch my family and stepped in to eat and I ordered the Chile verde/Colorado breakfast plate and it was delicious. I felt like I was eating my mamas food! Our server was awesome and polite. The wait was not long at all.

We happened to be those people who show up close to closing time and they were still super friendly and ready to take our orders. My son just had surgery so he wanted enchiladas as his meal so we ordered a cheese enchiladas plate and it was so good. The rice and beans it came with we're so flavorful. I would go back just for that if I could. I order a carnitas plate and it was so good as well. Either they were happy to be able to go home after so they cooked with love that night or it's always like that lol. The place was clean and inviting.Edit to add: went again and this time I took a picture of the food and it was still so good.
Parking: Easy to find parking.

New proprietors since Jan 2023. They had a Sunday morning buffet .NOTE The menu prices aren't true. They have a little sign up front that says so.I had El Agave Omelette for $11.59.A plate full of delicious eggs cheese pico potatoes & refries w/ tortillas.Hubby's Posole $13.99 was satisfying & delicious as he hoped, and came with sides of onions cilantro tortilla & lime wedgesThe proprietors are friendly and service-oriented. Pretty interior. Soft Mexican music in the background.
Not very many options in their buffet that they overcharge for. They even tried charging the $15.59 price for my 7 year old son.2 large pans of Enchiladas, all cheese, albeit 2 different types of cheese. It would've been nice to see a different option like empanadas, taquitas, or seasoned ground beef with potatoes. Even roasted veggies would've been preferred. The posole had chunks of pork with way too much fat. I'm not sure what the tiny pieces of beef were, but even though it was flavorful, it was also loaded with pieces of fat.

This place is better than advertised and they do a great job advertising!! Friendly staff, amazing food, and a great experience! I will definitely be back and bring friends with me!!

The carne asada was great, tender and full of flavor. My mother-in-law had the 7 mares and I will definitely try that next time, it looked so good and even had crab legs! We have made this our spot to eat at when traveling through Portales ?
