I went to this BBQ spot in Portales, NM and it was delicious!! If you are ever in Portales and want some Awesome smoked BBQ, stop by and pick you up a plate!! I'll be going back real soon!!
Went went and it wasn't busy or packed, the cashier was lovely, and the owner Coach J came out and made sure everything was good. My son is a picky eater and said he wants to come back so we definitely will be. This is Texas BBQ and the sauce is perfect.
On a long road trip and decided to stop in...met Coach J when we walked up and he's fantastic! Friendly & genuine!
My husband ordered the 2 meat with brisket, ribs, beans and mc n cheese. I got the meatball sandwich and it came with potatoe chips. Ribs were tasty but don't miss getting those meatballs! Wow! BBQ meat chopped rolled in bacon and smoked. OMG! So good! Nice sauce too.
