I heard this place makes one of the top 5 burgers in Portales. I don't know because I was unaware you must either Walk Up to an outside window to order (the drive thru? Shakes & ice cream menu posted; I was told I *could* order there. A menu would have been helpful.) or Call Ahead. The most recent online menu is 1 year old, and a photo of the actual billboard menu. The menu is online, but with no info or prices. The menu billboard photo on Facebook is from 2015. I even tried to find a menu on DoorDash. Nothing.
Bottom line, this is probably a nice place for locals who know what they offer, but is not very welcoming for anyone else.

My experience coming to pats the last few times has dismissed although the food is good im paying for items I don't receive it's frustrating considering the times we all face. I hope in the near future not only will the food continue to be fresh but I hope to receive either sides that are payed and purchased.

If you want to constantly sit in the toilet, this is the place. Nice hot patties with cold/frozen centered buns. Burger was actually pretty good but they got my order wrong. Waited 15min for it

The Best Food! Grew up in Portales and have sinced moved away but anytime I come through I hit up Pat's! I LOVE the cheese sticks and the loaded burritos 🤤🤤

The experience left a bad taste in my mouth…or maybe it was the hotdog.
Service: Customer service during my recent visit was subpar. My order was incomplete. When I notified staff, they told me they had the missing item and I could drive back. I asked for a credit for future purchase as driving back is a hassle, especially when you have hungry kids at home. I was offered a credit for fries that must be redeemed within two days, a timeline that didn’t fit my schedule. This response placed the burden on me although the mistake was not mine.
Food: The PB shake and green chile cheese burger were good…but to add to the disappointment on my recent visit, the footlong hotdog was pretty pitiful (see picture).
Would give one star, but the PB shake is fire and the burgers are good.
