We are visiting from out of town. Stopped by on the way back from visiting the gorge. Great food!! The owner was super nice and told us some info on the mine that was shut down. Very interesting!! But stop by for the great food!

I called in an order at 1243 leaving Taos, I was told 25 minutes until it was ready, I arrived at 1:23 they took my money $58 something i left $10 in the tip jar and was told i could pickup at the next counter, as the lady called the name of the order out i could tell something wasn't right, no one had the order, the guy said you can have a seat and wait I said like 10 minutes? he looked to the guy cooking and he said I'm just starting it now. I told the guy i called the order in over 40 minutes ago, if i had known it wasn't close to being ready i would have told you not to even start it. I said I guess im just out $70 and food now his response was its busy season. There was never a I'm sorry from him, no offer to refund my money, nothing. Ill take my business of 12 years and go else where, shameful way to do locals.

I grew up in Questa and this was my favorite place to get a smothered burrito in all of Northern New Mexico. Now, it is a shadow of it’s former self. The chili tastes very different (like vinegar), and the meat portions are abysmal. Very saddened by this change of ownership. I’m sorry to all tourists trying this place for the first time, you’re not getting the quality it used to have. Prices are too high.

Tourist here. First time visit. This is your traditional small town burger joint that has kept its 1980’s aesthetics. If you want a classic burger and fries, this is your place. Absolutely delicious. You can tell they care about the quality of the food and their craft; it’s simple food done well.
The staff was friendly and the food is made to order so it may take awhile. If you have a hankering for a classic burger, stop here.
Overall, worth a visit.

food was soooo good, we got the buffalo chicken sandwich and the bobcat burger both were delicious, the ranch was definitely homemade overall great food and service definitely stop by and give it a try !!! The picture says it all
