We frequently travel the I25 between CO Springs and Albuquerque and for years our stops have never included Raton. We’ve recently added children to the clan so the stops have adjusted and are more frequent. After frantically searching for a place to stop for a road trip break and to feed a hungry family, google maps suggested Bruno’s; and I’m so grateful it did! Fine pizza: excellent crust with a variety of standard/nonstandard topping choices. The cranberry salad was good, too. I hope Bruno's can survive in a town that appears to be in serious decline.
As someone that splits time between Denver and Raton, it can be hard to find good, consistent, and fresh food in rural areas like Raton. Bruno's is the exception here. They do an amazing job with their pizza, wings, salads, and beer list. In my opinion, they are arguably the best restaurant in Raton, and I know many in the area feel the same.
