Went for trivia, & had a great time. Friendly staff, chill locals, and good food. When I move back, it'll be muh watering hole.

I ate at probably 7 places in Raton, this place was the best place to eat in Raton! If you’re in Raton consider eating here first.

Drinks were ok. Food and food service was terrible. Party of 6. 2 dinner orders came out first. 8 minutes later another 2. 8 minutes later the final 2 orders. The smoked ribs needed to be cut with a knife. That was a first. The smoked chicken came out and was still almost frozen in the middle. How does that happen. And when the chicken was returned to be cooked thirty minutes later never showed back up so we left with the chicken order person being hungry. They did however apologize for the chicken and removed it from the bill so at least you have that. Our party will never return but it’s your choice.

The food wasn't all that. I got a brisket plate paid way to much for dry old brisket. Only thing that was good was the onion rings. I understood they just barely opened when I got there but still no excuse for the brisket being dry. I guess you got to be feeling good for the food to be good I don't know. The service from was great tho. Both was really nice.

Stopped here for the second time on my way through from Texas to Colorado while also staying at the Raton Motor Inn. This restaurant is not only so charming but has wonderful food, cold beer and friendly staff!

Great food and beers, great service, really good acoustics. Nice, chill atmosphere. Watch out, pretzel really is "big!" We enjoyed our visit and will go back and recommend it to friends and family.

Probably worst bar ever…I witnessed a guy being thrown out because they didn’t like the way he looked, the red headed bar tender was rude she thought she was all that and she was far from it, then her butch he/she friends would harass everyone in the bar if they didn’t get there way and the karaoke absolutely sucked..

So my family and i love to try new places so we thought we would try here lets just say this was the worst place over ever been and we love supporting small town businesses but this was the WORST bar/restaurant experience I've ever had the staff is very rude texting while behind the bar was finally waited on after flagging down the waitress who was dressed very poorly with bad body order(BAD BO) Slow service for drinks and food, unwilling to serve us food (literally said we should go to a better place for food if we didn't F**g like how the service was and walked away from our table . very rude people in this bar and underage kids sitting at bar stools, dirty floors dirty glass of beer that i got had lipstick on it when asked to switch out the bartender/ waitress wipes my glass and re-poors it into the same dirty glass she gave me i refused that when i did she go very upset and walked off slamming the glass into water and not bringing me my drink back and unwilling to accommodate anything the whole time we sat there , the owner was walking around and didn't say one work to use there was pee and poop all over the bathroom toilet ! Their menu had a bunch of items said if we don't have it then don't Order it i'm tired of telling you what we have and don't have it okay said very rude and was speaking loudly. upon ordering after being treated like crap , we stuck it out and we noticed that both the cook and waitress smoking outside smelled like weed after walking into the building and she was talking about our table and our f**ing needs how unprofessional is this for the business, and a young lady had a baby behind the bar with she was bar tending and waiting tables while she is serving alcoholic beverages/ food to other customers holding her child as if it was not an issue for her, so many over served customers who are intoxicated these bartenders do not care about there jobs they are very loud talking bout tables as if they are not listing to them , very rude, stink also to mention the bartenders are taking shots behind the bar as if they are not working this is illegal (Right ?) the whole place is a joke and its not ran properly this place needs to be shut down . i suggest you go else where customers beware!!!!!!

We stopped on our way to Colorado. It is a bar/restaurant located in an old historic building. Because it was mid afternoon, it was pretty quiet. The beer was good and so was the food! We had the brisket, which was delicious, and I also liked the mashed sweet potatoes. We will definitely return if we're in the area again.

This is a nice spot with friendly atmosphere—folks were having fun with some Tuesday night trivia while I was there. The Green Chile Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was excellent—bread was just right, and the steak was top-notch and seemed super-fresh! It's among the best Philly Cheesesteak I've ever had, and not something I expected to find out west, so I recommend trying it if you're in the area! The onion rings were just right, too. Full onion rings—nothing minced here—breaded thick enough they didn't fall apart or crumble, but also not overly greasy or anything.

Parking: Parking seems to be along the surrounding streets.

Never felt more ignored in my life! $5 cover charge just to be stared at by the staff and the customers! Sat at the bar for 5 minutes while the bartender served everyone around us! If you're not local...AVOID THIS PLACE!

Such a nice spot tucked into Raton. We were instantly greeted with a nice hello from the bartender when we opened the door. He poured my beer and got us a water quick. We ordered at the bar and sat outside. It had a great view with a nice breeze. The good was very good too. I had the green chille Philly with onion rings. My wife had their B.L.T. both sandwiches came quick and tasted great. I had their Oktoberfest and my wife had the Corny Apple cocktail. Both were good. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.
