We love this place. The service was a little off on our last visit- took a while to take our order despite appearing to be pretty empty but the food was worth the wait and they recognized the delay so gave us a free baklava to compensate. The hummus is great but try the labneh too- so good! Everyone left happy and full.

Great little place in Rio Rancho for Mediterranean good. Service was funny, kind and attentive. Greek salad was tasty with a great dressing. The gyro was a little dry but the sauces made up for that. The chicken swarma was flavorful but what stood out was the chicken kabob, will be going back for this. The kabob was well marinated and so juicy. Topped the night off with has to be some of the best pistachio baklava I have ever had... perfect serving to share!

Got a take away order. When I got home and opened the lamb rack, there were only 3 chops and all were smaller than my little finger. The lamb was burnt to the point that the bone broke when it was picked up. I have never seen a lamb chop so small, thin or burnt in my life. When I phoned up, the man who answered seemed in a bad mood. He told me he did the order and put 4 chops in there.

75% of my group said they would return to this Al Quds location. What I would do differently, next time, would be to order my shawarma sandwich (pictured) without any sauce. If it was on the side, then I could dip what I wanted and the sandwich would not have fallen apart. The fries were absolutely perfect. If you get a platter, you're going to get a lot of food. The interior decor is nothing special, but does give a hint of the MENA region. Service was adequate - just one guy holding down the fort.Parking: Located in a strip centre with plenty of open spaces nearby.

Have eaten here about 5 times. Food is excellent, big portions, very fairly priced. I especially recommend the platters for two. My husband and I always have food left over to bring home. Service is attentive, professional, and very friendly...ready to answer any questions. This is a family owned and staffed place. They have a personal investment in it and are fully committed to providing good quality food and great service. Highly recommend it.Vegetarian options: Husband had excellent vegetarian meal.. which included dolmas and falafel.

My family and I absolutely love this place. The food is really good. My wife and I are prior military and have spent a lot of time in the Middle East and the Eastern Med. The food is authentic and every bit as good as the food I had in the hole-in-the-wall places in the Middle East. The Gyros are great. The pita version is more akin to the Middle East version than Greek. The Shwarma is amazing. Actually, everything is amazing. Please give this place a try. This isn't Americanized Middle Eastern/Eastern Med cooking; this is true cultural food!

This is some of the best Mediterranean food in the area! They catered some large parties for my employer and everything was delicious. I just went to the restaurant and it was even better. Best hummus in town, fabulous pita bread, chicken kabobs and tzatziki. Next visit, beef kabobs. The falafel and Greek salad are also very good, as is the baklava. Their first location is in Albuquerque, this one in Rio Rancho is about 3 months old, in the Taste of Jerusalem location. My new favorite restaurant!!

First time visiting this small restaurant and we were so happy we chose this establishment over a chain restaurant!! We were greeted by Jazmin and she made us feel welcomed by her nice smile and soft spoken voice. The music in the background plus the decorations all over the restaurant made us feel in the Middle East. We ordered hummus and pita bread as an appetizer. The hummus was so rich and creamy, and the pita bread was perfect and made in-house . My wife ordered the chicken shawarma platter, my kids (11 & 8) ordered the chicken shawarma sandwiches and I got the lamb shawarma sandwich. The lamb was delicious and so juicy! I tried the chicken shawarma and it was just as good but did taste totally different (in a good way)! Overall, we had a great experience and even though we’re not from here, we will definitely try to come back any time we can ?
