The bagels were fantastic and super affordable. They almost reminded me of home (which is jersey).

Perfectly boiled and baked, with that signature chew and golden crust that makes a real bagel stand out. The variety is excellent — from the classics like everything and sesame to more unique options — and every one I’ve tried has been spot-on. Whether you’re grabbing a dozen to go or sitting down for a full deli-style breakfast or lunch, you’ll taste the care and tradition in every bite. An absolute gem.

Have the Jalapeño and Cheddar bagel with Honey Apmond cream cheese. Their cream cheese selection is the best

Meh. We got two sausage egg and cheese on everything bagels. The bagels were so dry. Also grabbed a cinnamon roll, decent but also dry. We tried a chocolate pastry based off the recommendation of a worker and it tasted and smelled like dog food. It was absolutely disgusting. Went into the trash. This is our 3rd time trying this spot since it (re)opened in this location and I doubt we return. Better bagels elsewhere.

Very nice, honest, hardworking people. Great food, very clean shop, and the lady who rang up the order was so friendly. The cinnamon rolls and strawberry pastries are delicious and so is the coffee. I will be back again soon to try a bagel sandwich or two. Great place to pick up something quick when on the go, or just sit down to relax and treat yourself to something nice when you have extra time.

After reading the lack luster reviews from other disappointed customers, I doubt that I would waste my time with this establishment. Why would I want to be treated by people with such negative attitudes, and then be expected to tip them too? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I have been visiting The Bagel for over 20 years. I have watched many of the employees grow up over the years I have done business with them and now see their kids in the store. The food is on point. The bagles are fantastic, the cream cheese is amazing. The pastries are incredible. They use great ingredients and real butter when they cook your food.
I see reviews from people who indicate service issues, but that has never, ever been my experience. The team is great. Fran will accept nothing less.
You can go to a chain, pay more, and get mediocre food...or go to The Bagel and get an amazing sandwich and a great pastry!

I have been coming here since I was a kid. They moved locations a couple of years back but the quality of service has remained S tier. A lot of the older folk of Rio come here for breakfast but it’s decently priced and I kinda wish more college students had access because this place would make bank. Good food, service and vibe. 10/10

Food was good delicious green chile cream cheese only issue I had was I got a sourdough bagel and found 2 eyelash sized hairs inside of the bottom portion of the bagel baked in

Ordered egg & bacon as well as egg, bacon and cheese on a bagel with green chili this morning just few minutes ago. To my disappointment, no green chili on both. I also ordered half a dozen bagels. Although their menu mentioned that one additional free bagel, it was not added on my order. My wife also found hair one one of the bagels. Too bad I was planning to go there regularly.

This place offers the most amazing and inexpensive ny style bagels ever.
