Everything was good! Our first visit and we were happy with our food. First off this is Mexican style, not New Mexican, so the chile wasn't extremely hot. A little kick to it which is fine with us. We shared a steak/potato/green chile burrito and a breakfast burrito. Steak chucks were tender, potatoes soft, (could use more green chile sauce). Breakfast burrito was yummy and stuffed with bacon, potatoes and cheese. The salsa was tasty, chips the thick texture type. Some reviewer said tortillas not homemade, I beg to differ. You can't get that fluffy thick warm tortilla from a factory. Definitely homemade. Service was good. Helpful suggestions since our first visit. I even paid attention to what other customers were ordering. We went on a Saturday just after lunch rush. (I'm sure weekday lunch hours are extremely busy). The drive through was busy the whole time. Inside a steady stream of customers but no waiting. One guy said over at Intel he was told to come check it out. Nice to have a fast food place that's far superior to the chains. We look forward to trying more on the menu.

Went for another visit this morning. The service was friendly and the burritos were even better! We chose the egg, cheese, potatoes, and cheese. The sausage was ground and plentiful. We each had red and green chile, which were both good. The red was a little spicy, but added a nice bit of heat to the flavor. Overall, a good, morning meal!

I just wanna say that I finally went to burrito express to get home made tortillas and they were definitely not homemade. Very unsatisfied with this. And was charged almost $10.!!!!

I can’t believe living here all these years I have never tried Burrito Express! Tried the enchilada burrito and the chicken quesadilla for the first time and it was delicious! Way better than stripes burritos which was not a good experience? Just wish they gave some chile or salsa with my quesadilla and kinda pricey but other than that it was good?

Drive thru. Service 5 stars. Ordered 2 ultimate breakfast buritos. Buritos were good. Smaller than we are use to for 9 dollars. Red and green chili was mild.

I just can't stand the menu. It's so basic and they really need to update it for it to make sense because every time I go through the drive-thru, I ask for a egg and meat burrito (with carne asada) which I expect to pay $6, and then they ask if I would like potatoes and of course I say "Sure!" but turns out that's a higher-level burrito that comes out to $8.59 so you wind up mad that they rush through the order and try to completely ignore the fact that they just charged you more than expected. Maybe it's a scam, who knows??

Yesterday my son and were in Albuquerque at your location Menaul and Carlisle.we currently live in Rio Rancho.So here is what we experienced at this location The breakfast burritos are extremely filled with more egg and meat compared to the ones in Rio Rancho.The red Chile tastes much better and the burritos with green Chile have more green Chile in them than the ones in Rio Rancho. The Rio Rancho location was more generous when the first opened their business there a few years back. We were surprised at the difference.
