A small place - just seats 21 max, with a very limited menu, but the food was very good. The bakery specializes in strudels, many varieties and excellent, with some cookies, bread, etc as well. Though small and limited in what they serve, they do a very nice job if it!

Hand-crafted delicacies and hearty breakfasts for the price of fast food! Please support them Albuquerque! Pork schnitzel with roasted potatoes and mushroom gravy are one-of-a-kind!

This place has the best German food in the ABQ metro, probably the while state ! Everything is delicious, from the pork Jagerschnitzel (thankfully not veal) to the macaroons. Cakes, rolls, to-die-for cinnamon rolls (more like a small cake, and you gotta get ‘em early)…all irresistible! Atmosphere is friendly and the dining room is relaxed and less cramped than the sales/ordering/pick-ip area. I am sure they will expand to larger digs soon because they are a roaring success!

Such a treat to have an authentic taste of Germany right here in Rio Rancho! Dagmar’s has a lovely backstory, and the owner brings so much heart to the place—friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about both the food and the community. A real gem with a personal touch!

Came upon this German restaurant and bakery today while in the area! I have been trying to find German food since leaving Heidelberg in 2013. The food was good. It definitely satisfied my craving for something different and comforting!! Thank you for feeding me with some delicious food today!! I hope you have many many more years to provide us with more food!!

Cozy atmosphere. Amazing pastry selection. The strudels were perfect. And the people were very kind. We got the breakfast schnitzel to go and oh my goodness absolutely delicious. The gravy has green Chile and it's a perfect, delicious fusion let me tell you. The potatoes were good and the schnitzel was crispy still through the gravy. We love German food so when we saw this we were so happy we finally got to stop in. 110% recommend 😊

Great little German bakery and eatery. We have bought pastries in the past and they are always delicious. This time we stopped in and sat down for breakfast. Fantastic service and conversations. The breakfast schnitzel was over the top great. The German breakfast burrito sounds great. Will have that the next time. Definitely going back soon. Thanks Dagmar's.

We had an excellent lunch here, tried bratwurst and knackwurst, both excellent, but the bratwurst was tastiest. Comes with very good Bavarian saurkraut (with chunks of pork in it) and great German potato salad. We bought rye and sourdough bread and strudels to take home. The breads were very tasty but a bit dry the next day, strudels were very good.

This place is great. I met a friend there for lunch and wasn't sure what to expect. I tried the Jagrschnitzel (sp?), and the breaded.pork sirloin and gravy were really good. I even liked the red cabbage that came with it, even though I'm not a big cabbage fan. The fish comes with these homemade noodles that were really good and complimented the meal well. The Rueben and the daily lunch special (ham sandwich on special fresh baked roll) were very tasty and served in a large portion.
The shop is known for its baked goods, and the macaroons (original and chocolate dipped) are some of the freshest and best tasting that I've had. My lunch companions said the strudel was also delicious.
The staff was very helpful and friendly and the whole shop has a great vibe. I really enjoyed my visit!

I picked up some German sausage and some Hungarian sausage along with a loaf of rye bread and one piece of German chocolate cake.
