Great place to find authentic New Mexican food. You cant go wrong with any of the dishes they serve. And of course, no meal would be complete without the warm puffy sopapilla drizzled in honey.

Hadn't been here in many years, the food was delicious!! I got rellenos, my husband got the 2 tamale plate. My daughter got huevos rancheros, and my son in law got the fritz pie. My granddaughter got a taste of all our plates. Service was good, she was very pleasant and nice

I was born and raised in New Mexico and Hot Tamales is my favorite New Mexican restaurant! They're food is always delicious whether you go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. When we have family in town, we always take them there and they love it as well. I love their enchiladas, tacos, and salsa, my husband loves their huevos benitos, and my sons likes the tamale plate. But everything there is great. The owner was also very generous during covid. Highly recommend!!!

I've never been disappointed by Hot Tamales! The food here is consistently delicious. Servers are friendly. Service is quick. Chips and salsa are so good. The #10, green, with calabacitas and rice is my favorite but everything I've tried here is yummy. The sopapillas are fantastic.

They got my food wrong and when I got the right food it was brought out fast but some of food seemed burnt abd the beans were crusty on top like old and hardly any red or green chili on the food

Delicious local new Mexican food. All of the food is great.

My Only completing is the change to the green Chile fries. The fries used to be fresh cut potatoes, like the breakfast fries. They were extremely good. However the restaurant decided to change to frozen fries. They still taste ok but nothing near the fresh cut flavor. The fries went from a 5 star appetizer down to a 2 star. We still order them but that's because most of the other appetizers are basic.

It's an open dining room similar to a Cafe. It can be loud in there when there are a lot of patrons to the restaurant.

Family friendly. At lunch time there can be anywhere from no wait to over an hour. Dinner is anywhere from 15 minutes to week over 1 hour.

We loved our experience here!! Our server was great. He suggested the green chili stew omelette and to add bacon and it didn’t disappoint!! We will be back for the food and the great wait staff!
