Everything was wonderful except the red chili on the smothered burrito. The red chili tasted and looked like it was only red chili powder in water. It didn't seem like it had been cooked, and they didn't seem to be any spice like salt or garlic as authentic red chili should have. Everything else was great. That's why they only got four stars.

The food is always beautiful and fresh. I love the cauliflower steak. Definitely recommend, though I wish the space were a bit bigger and that they had a patio. It’s such incredible food that I wish the vibe matched. But 5 stars anyway because I recommend it to everyone! :)Dietary restrictions: Easy to eat here gluten free
It's ok. When I think about trying too hard I think of this meal. Like.... it's ok. It feels like they want to add ingredients and colors to the meal plating before the taste and the emphasis of what's on the plate. I don't know but you walk away thinking it was a fancied up village inn. Nothing really stood out except the green chille was actually spicy and tasty. But the whole rest of the meal was ok. The cost is average. 4 meals was like $85 with tips and drinks included. It was just ok. Not bashing, just not blown away. And I wanted to like it. Mom and pop shops should get recognized. They just need to make a few changes to really get over the top to really good. Anyway. It's worth a try. We had the Dutch baby, French toast almodine and huevos Rancheros. The 4th plate I couldn't remember. The huevos was in my opinion the best dish but the Dutch was a close second.

Ate here with a family group of 8 on a Friday morning. The restaurant was surprisingly busy on a weekday mid-morning. It was a testament to how fantastic the food is. I ordered a croque madame, which was the best I've ever had. The staff seemed a bit frenetic, I don't know if the large crowd was unexpected or because we were seated between the door, drink station, and kitchen in a busy area. It did give me the sense that a larger space is needed. But the food is the important thing, and it was exceptional.
