They changed their cappuccinos, it’s now a freaking latte, not a cappuccino. While the rebranding is nice they also took out the staff picks board where I’d get inspiration for what I would order.
Ordered a biscochito latte and donut. The donut was surprisingly refrigerated, however not bad. Service was quick and they also gave me a pup cup for my dog.
Great experience at Piñon Coffee House! I ordered the vegetarian green chili burrito and an iced latte—both were really good. The burrito was flavorful and had a nice kick to it. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend!
Took 30 minutes for coffee. Definitely not coming back to this place
Listen, I LOVE Piñon Coffee. But for the last six months, the drive through consistently takes 10-25 minutes if there are more than two people in front of you. I have regretted stopping basically 9 out of 10 times because it’s INFURIATINGLY slow. There’s almost no incentive to stop anymore and it’s heartbreaking because I love this place.
My toddler and I were having a bad morning last week while getting ready for school, so i decided i would take her and her baby brother to Piñon Coffee house for some hot chocolate and a treat before dropping her off thinking it would turn our morning around. Boy was I WRONG. (I had already had a bad experience here a few months prior while on a coffee date in the empty Piñon House, we were the only 2 people in the entire building and they still took 35 mins to make my regular black coffee and it took at least 6 reminders just to get it lol.)
Anyway, I take my kids there last week and again we are the only ones in the entire coffee house except for one other gentleman. All I ordered was a hot chocolate and donut for my toddler, and a coffee and burrito for myself. Y’all… they never even made my coffee even after i asked them over 8 times if they were making it, if it had been forgotten, etc. After about 45 mins of no coffee, other customers begin pouring in and getting their orders before i received my ONE coffee lmaooo. So at this point I need to leave to take my kids to school so i just ask for a refund, the girl apologizes profusely for forgetting a 9th time and says she will make it right here in front of my face. I say ok thanks let me strap my lids in their car seats and ill run back in and get it, so i strap my kids in the car and when i return i reach my hand out for my coffee and the girl with wide eyes says “oh, sorry, that customer just took it. Here i will make another one.” At this point this was my 11th time begging for my coffee so i just left. This is probably the worst service ive ever had in my life and im in my 30’s and have experienced probably thousands of establishments over 30 different states. The incompetence of this place takes the cake. Sadly i will be taking my business back to starbucks cause at least there i get my drink within the hour lol. Avoid this place at all costs.
Great donuts and lattes.
I think she said her nam was Lauren to the girl who took my order this morning at 11:20 you made my day thank you
The team here is amazing the service is great and the coffee is the best in Rio!

So sad to have to say this but the quality of the piñon coffee has gone down. I do not come to piñon coffee very often anymore because of the inconsistency and still, when I do every so often, the drinks are always OFF. My order is an iced piñon latte (w/ oatmilk), one of their signature drinks, and it doesn’t matter what day of the week it is, the drink isn’t right. You can only taste the milk, so the ratios are off. The whole staff must not be trained the same because the drinks vary. I will not be a customer further more as I hate wasting my money pouring out drinks. Very sad because piñon used to be my favorite coffee place.
Best coffee and best people! 😁
Super tasty
Yesterday I ordered the iced matcha latte with vanilla and oat milk as well as 2 other hot coffees. The iced matcha latte drink didn’t taste good, you can barely taste the matcha. The workers were nice but the 3 workers did take a while to make each drink and gave me each drink separately every few minutes instead of all at once. I wouldn’t recommend the matcha drinks you might as well get it at Starbucks.
Absolutely love their biscochito coffee.
Pistachio is amazing as well.
There is not too much out there that can duplicate this experience. I have had coffee from coast to coast and this is my favorite place. The food is really good also. It's not like Starbucks where they just microwave frozen food for you. It tastes fresh.
