Piñon Coffee House

This is a local chain in the area, and I'd never been there, so I knew I had to try it. I got a Mexican chocolate latte and some biscochito bites, and they were so amazing! What I liked about this particular location was that they had a TON of plants, and they were almost all named. Everything from Amanda to Pinto Bean to Oingo Boingo. It made it fun to walk around while we waited for our drinks to be made.

I sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes and my coffee wasn't even hot when I received it

On 10/25 I called the Pinon Coffee House on Rio Rancho asking about their biscochito donuts. The young man that answered the phone was very helpful. The next day when my husband went to pick up the donuts they were boxed and ready with a note on the box "have a good day".
It's the little things that count ?

Please change the lid to your drinks... I ordered a pumpkin pie latte that was supposed to come with an open cap and whip cream. I got this cap that snapped into individual strands of plastic. I don't want plastic with my drink. I wasted 7 dollars for a drink i won't drink.

Delicious! The Mi Amor Iced Latte is soo good. Very creamy, sweet, and delicious! I love everything about that drink! They put delicious honey in it and they use coffee ice cubes so it doesn’t water down. Love it!

Usually this place is 5 stars all around. Came in today for my regular. I wanted cloud top AND whipped cream. He told me it was either or. I told him it's what I always get and he said, "Well it's usually either." And he's never had anyone order it that way. Lmao but it's how I order it and have never been questioned. Not sure what the smart a$$ comments were for, plus the attitude. I offered to buy him a coffee ? lastly, can you as a business order bigger straws especially for large drinks? These litte straws don't are frustrating to use with large drinks, thanks.

Best coffee in ABQ! The Los Lunas Fire Department only drinks Pinon coffee, thanks to a monthly donation from the owner and his wife. You guys are incredible! ?

Not sure what's going on with this place but the vibe is not good. Waited five minutes before anyone acknowledged me despite it not being busy. Baristas were standing looking at their phones and once I was able to order, it took another 10 minutes before I got my drink. I love the coffee here, but the atmosphere is stagnant. I really hope staff can get it together.

Didn't try the food, it didn't look appealing to me, I'm not a coffee person, but wow, this is some non bitter tasting coffee with a SUPER friendly staff and clean environment, piñon coffee definitely changed my overall opinion about coffee.
