We popped in here for a last minute meal with our kids. I got the bun bo hue soup which is my favorite Vietnamese soup. This was the BEST bun bo hue soup I’ve ever had. Everyone working at the restaurant were incredibly kind and attentive.

Their food is amazing, especially their Pho! I've been here a few times and the last time we came here, they were busy! They still got us seated right away, and still served us right away though. It just means it's good😉
They have a clean place, have great service, fast serving, and amazing food! They're wonderful all around!
The only thing they can use is a bigger place. It's quite small. With how delicious their food is, a bigger place can build more business 😏🫸🫷😉

I usually love this place have been going for 10 + years. Today was the last time I’ll go. The restaurant had a funny smell of course nobody in the restaurant. The workers were all men and watching us eat and laughing so it makes me wonder what they did to the food. The quality has gone down they use to give more slices of pork considering how thin they are they cut back on that. It was just a weird experience all around and I’ve never gotten that vibe from there. So sad I’ll still go to the original on San Mateo because I know that owner takes pride in her restaurant. This one is like the brother or something and it’s just not the same. If only she knew how this place was being ran.

I went on a Sunday lunch. After dealing with a cold all week, I really wanted some pho. Albuquerque staples like Basil Leaf, Pho #1, Viet Taste, Pho Linh, and Viets Pho have really set the bar for Vietnamese cuisine locally for me. I didnt even know Vietnamese food could have bad versions until I came here.
Nothing was fresh. Spring rolls were really gummy and chewy. Lettuce was overripe and tasted like it had been sitting in the refrigerator for awhile. The peanut sauce had a transparent white glaze that pulled around it when I dipped.
Combination Pho broth was okay but the collective ingredients were not good quality.
Hopefully this was a one off issue but with the plethora of options in this city, I don’t think I’ll be back.

If you’re looking for flavorful, fresh, and authentic Vietnamese cuisine, Saigon 2 is an absolute gem in Rio Rancho! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and attentive—welcoming without being overbearing, and genuinely kind. You can tell they truly care about their guests.
The food? Incredible. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The savory pho had the perfect balance of aromatic broth and tender meat, while the vermicelli bowls were vibrant and refreshing with crisp veggies and perfectly grilled protein. Each bite felt like it was crafted with care.
One of the highlights of our visit was their coconut drink—it was served fresh and chilled, and at the end, they even offered to cut it open so we could enjoy the soft coconut meat inside. It was such a fun, thoughtful touch that made the experience even more special.
Whether you’re a longtime fan of Vietnamese food or trying it for the first time, Saigon 2 delivers comfort, flavor, and amazing hospitality in every way. Highly recommend!

By far the best Vietnamese food I’ve found anywhere in the area! The pork vermicelli and the beef pho is outstanding! The
eggrolls are second to none! Absolutely fantastic service and very reasonably priced. I absolutely recommend, on my top 10 list of restaurants in Rio Rancho.

Such a nice small restaurant. Customer service was great! I had the rare beef rice noodle bowl and my hubby had the stick rice noodle bowl with onion beef. Both were soooo good! Definitely will be making this a regular for our date nights.
