Feb. 27th around 10 pm. Ordered 2 Chalupas, one was a bit crunchy and the other looks like someone took a bite out of it before wrapping. Needles to say. It went in the trash. Money wasted. I'll be a bit more cautious at this location if I return. This was my go to late night restaurant. Beyond disappointed.

This Rio Rancho Taco Bell has got to be one of the WORST locations in New Mexico. Hands down the worst customer service, an unorganized and rude staff, just a total disaster of a Taco Bell location. Don't even bother trying to get the correct order through the drive through, it's not gonna happen. If they do get it wrong you will have to take your bags of food back in and verify each item against the receipt what they missed. Waste of time, cold food and consistent wrong orders. Save yourself the time/trouble/money/frustration and eat somewhere else-no cold as* bean burrito (that you never ordered anyway) is worth this hot mess.
This had been the only taco bell close to me for the longest time. Even though it's not anymore, it's still my favorite!

Why do I need to have “proof” you didn’t put something in the bag? That makes no sense. I went through the drive through, the point was to NOT have to walk in.

A few days ago, I used the drive thru to order a Veggie Mexican Pizza. When I got home and had taken a few bites, I realized it was a regular Mexican Pizza, with meat in it. I called the store to let them know and asked for a refund. Nathan, one of the managers was very nice and told me that since I couldn’t come back in that night, he would write my name in the book. Tonight, I was close by and decided to go and get my refund of $6. I pull up to the drive thru window and asked, very nicely, to speak to one of the managers.
A lady came to the window and told me that I could not have a refund as refunds are only given the same day the “incident” occurs but that she could remake it. I think this to be strange but say okay and ask for the general managers name so I can take it up with them. I did not want a remake as I’d already eaten dinner. On my way home, I realized I had forgotten to ask her name. I called the store to ask for her name and when I did, she replied in a very snarky tone, “Why do you want my name??” Taken aback, I replied, “Just so that I can reference our conversation when I speak to the GM.” She tells me that’s she’s already told the GM. I tell her that I’d still like her name. She tells me that her name is Makayla and hangs up on me- I called back, the phone rings and rings. I immediately flip a u-turn to head to back. What the heck -why- why are you hanging up on me and refusing to answer when I call back? I call a third time, she answers and without saying a word immediately hangs up on me..
Upon my arrival, I go into the lobby because I’m now livid, and ask to speak with Makayla. The staff looks perplexed but goes and tells her that I’m there to speak with her. About 5 minutes later, another staff member asks if I’ve been helped. I tell her that I need to speak with her manager Makayla. She gives me an odd look and says that her managers name is not Makayla but instead her name is MELISSA- wow- so not only did she hang up on me but she LIED to me before hanging up. Mind you, I was nothing but polite and kind to her prior to this. How preposterous is it to LIE to a customer about your name?! About 11 mins after my initial arrival into the store, she comes out. I greeted her as Makayla and followed with, “Or is it Melissa?!” Asked why she lied to me, hung up on me, wouldn’t answer the 2nd time I called and then answered and hung up the 3rd time I called- denials, shrugging of the shoulders, extremely rude and aloof. She finally says that she can give me my refund……WHY DID IT TAKE ALLLL OF THIS TO GET MY SIX DOLLARS BACK. Make it make sense.
Trey, general manager, franchise owner- seriously consider hiring someone else to do the managing of your store. Not only is the gross negligence and mistreatment of customers appalling but it sets a tone for all of the employees she manages, that they can lie, mistreat and be just weird to customers in general. Please hold Makayla aka Melissa responsible.
We did a door dash order and they made an item incorrectly, when I called to address it, the “manager” who answered the phone at 19:57 this evening hung up when I asked for her name, and when I called back IMMEDIATELY hung up on me. A disgusting display of lack of customer service. If she had simply said, I’m sorry next time you come by we’ll make you a new one, I would have been happy with the outcome, but she refused to even entertain anything besides call Door Dash (who refunds less then a third of the price.)

Nothing gets on my nerves or is more frustrating than going to an establishment and then trying to open the door and the door is locked and there is no sign saying they are temporarily closed.
This location continuously has this issue. I go to the door and the door doesn’t open yet. The sign says they’re open until 10 PM.
When I called, they say they are under staffed.
The management needs to do their job and make sure Sign is posted so people can see it from a distance before they plan on having a family event or coming there to eat and then walking all the way up to the door and having the door locked.
It’s disrespectful, it falls under mismanagement, it’s rude and and unprofessional.

I just ordered 4 tacos ….. $9.84!! No drink, no sides, just 2 regular and 2 supreme hard shells??!!
This joint was my go to when I was a teen but I didn’t have to remortgage a home I didn’t have back then, AND they had real meat & not imitation meat sauce from a bag…

They constantly short us on our orders. I will not return. I called to complain and got a fake sorry with an "I don't care" attitude in the voice., then the person hung up while I was still talking. I will not be back unless the owner contacts me and assures me that they've restaffed the entire store. Since I know this is a franchise and one owner owns all of the Taco bells in town, I will not give any of them my business.
