Taco Mex Y Mariscos

This place has the best pozole outside of my mother's house. It brings my little mexican heart so much joy. I should note my parents are from Juarez.

I came in yesterday and from the start the customer service is terrible, which by the other reviews is the same young girl. The food is overpriced. I ordered 3 asada tacos, pozole, a torta, and an horchata. The tacos were probably the most decent, the pozole tasted super weird and gross, and the torta was just gross it had super small amounts of asada and tons of avocado and tomato. You can’t buy a regular drink because they only have Aguas or bottled drinks that are way over priced and a sign that says “sorry no refills” on the aguas. I didn’t enjoy anything about my experience. I will never go back nor recommend to anyone. I rarely see people there and when I went it was empty and now I know why. These restaurants are becoming greedy, if you can’t put a decent amount of meat on my torta or even my tacos you don’t need my business.

4 salsas for 12 tacos is ridiculous, no option online to order limes.. limes should be sent with the food. And since when are the tortillas fried as it makes more greasy than it needs to be. Other than that gotta love the place !

Waited in the drive-through ordered food just to get up to the window for them to tell me they didn’t have it. Ridiculous complete waste of my time. The girl working was very rude will not return at all id rather get Taco Bell at this point way better service and food.

Just stopped to get my kids food. Ordered 5 carne asada tacos with rice and beans..... got home opened it up only had 4 tacos and no rice, no beans. What a disappointment. Guess we will not be going back.

Every time I go there the food big is excellent, friendliness and service are fantastic! Great menu!!

I usually order 3 burritos @3.50 a piece and usually comes to 12 bucks and some change, but there is one specific cashier(the younger female) who is absolutely overcharging every time, I brought it up to the cashier that rings up the proper total, she said the owner will not correct the issue so just a heads up from my mistake. MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR AN ITEMIZED RECEIPT BECAUSE THIS HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES THAT IM CHARGED 20 BUCKS FOR 3 SMALL BEAN BURRITOS THAT COST 3.50 EACH. Needless to say I will not be going back

I really like this place. Food is great. Most similar with southern NM food. Salsas are actual bleneded chile and not tomato and onion relish. Beans are refried and delicious. Rice is good ol southern nm rice. I prefer the Asada tacos here to tap-n-taco. However they dont have the bar and lively atmosphere. This is more of a quiet family restaurant. Also has a drive up window to take the food with you. The person I was with loved the chile rellenos. Said they were the best she's had in ABQ area.

Their bean and cheese burrito is so good. Cheap but filling. Great tortilla and even better refried beans. Their carne asada tacos are also very delicious. Gotta give this place a shot if you haven’t already.

It looks sketch but so worth the visit. It's an old SONIC. You can dine in, take out or drive through. Taco Tuesday can't be beat. I usually go for the carnitas. My husband says their menudo is good. If you need a good, fast Mexican place in Rio Rancho this should be your go to.
