Hubby and I enjoyed our 1st visit to Weck's this afternoon! Food was hot and fresh! Our server was knowledgeable with the menu and checked on us frequently. Staff was all smiles and seemed to enjoy working there. We will return!

Perhaps I should dine in earlier and not an hour before closing. My disabled partner and I went in for a late meal enjoying the fact that this place was not busy.We were passed on 3 times to be seated. Everyone looked tired and ready to go home. I get it. There was a waitress who wore a handkerchief on her head who was going to be our waitress ,who never returned to our table. We ended up getting a young waiter with glasses who seemed more concerned with chatting it up with the ladies. I orded my usual the carnitas plate only to have it served cold. reception of the place seemed get worse when I asked my waiter for new food. Alot of the wait staff are Mexican and make it known as such. They passed our table looking at me, speaking in Spanish, as if I committed a crime. My food came out a second time hot. It had tasted like it had been reheated,not fresh. I needed ketchup so I stood up and took it from an empty table because my waiter was no where around . The older woman who had been waiting on tables behind me popped off a comment to behind me about me asking for it. I looked directly at her and she walked away. Catty service was served today. Not a manager in sight. The only nice experience was being thanked at the register when it was time to pay. I have never had a bad experience till today. This place had too many people were too tired to be nice today.

So our 1st time to WECKS went pretty well. Erica was our server and was on it. Super fast and no issues.2nd visit not so much. Waitress was rude wouldn't take our order after we said we were ready because guest that came in before us to her section hadn't ordered yet. Never seen that before. Order was incorrect then she argues with us about our to go boxes and how many we needed. Asked for to go cup for water that we were still drinking.... Nope on that! When on previous visit Erica brought to-goes without us asking.Went to pay cashier, another pleasant one.Things just seemed off for some reason, unfortunately this visit will keep me from returning to Rio Rancho WECKS.
Had biscuits and gravy! OMG!!! The biscuits were amazing!!! The gravy was creamy and not too floury… AMAZING!!!

3/9/24 1+1 does not =1. Wecks cannot add. 1+1 =2 that should mean 2 bags. Cannot do job lose a star for every item miss. No comprehension was given.3/9/23 Might want to listen what name its under instead of being rude. And might be best to make sure the food is all there before coming out the first time.
