We were passing through Roswell NM making this part of our bucket list stops and we decided we wanted to eat somewhere that locals raved about! This was the spot! We were so impressed with the food and the exceptional service we received. My husband ordered the pork belly tacos and has raved about them since telling everyone about them and I ordered the shrimp fajitas and they were so delicious! We are putting Antigua Cocina Mexicana on our top places to eat! We will definitely be going back! Thanks so much for the warm hospitality and amazing food making our stop well worth it!

Server was too busy eating and doing silverware to attend her tables, very rushing and short coming service. Set down by an AC so our food became cold by the time it got to our table, no sauce for my steak or nothing at all on the tables, never was asked if food was ok or nothing, when visiting Roswell wont be going there thats for sure.

Really good pork and whatever the empanda appetizer things were. You add what you like in the empanadas, I got the chorizo and cheesy mushroom. Ask for the creamy serrano sauce and Sofia, great server!

We arrived for an evening dinner and were quickly seated and had our orders taken. The staff was very pleasant and checked on us quite often. The food was very good and large portions. It arrived quick and hot. Next time you are in town, I would recommend having a meal or two here.

We tried this restaurant on a whim. Fairly upscale with TVs in the bar area. They make they tortillas fresh daily. Good size menus, we opted for appetizers, and they were big enough for a meal. Flautas were crispy, stuffed with chicken, and drizzled with white queso and a side of a rancho sauce that was definitely tasty!! The flautas were presented on a bed of lettuce and tomato - beautiful presentation. Prices are a little high, but it is an upscale restaurant, but we liked it. By the time we left, the restaurant was full, and people were waiting to get a table. We will definitely be returning next time we are in Roswell!!

Got some delicious take out while traveling for work! A little disappointed I couldn't sit in the restaurant since it looked very cozy! But the food was amazing on the road!

We were told a 30 minute wait. It was more. We waited an hour. Thank goodness we asked to see a menu while we waited. We were seated and our waitress came right over.Asked her about peanuts in anything and she double checked with the kitchen, very quickly. We adjusted our order a little, but ordered right away.Hubby got chicken fajitas.Kid and I each ordered bistec enchiladas, one traditional sauce and the other with suiza. They delivered chips and salsa right away, and the drinks came quickly. We only waited about ten minutes for our food. The fajitas were screaming hot. The enchiladas were warm. Not gonna lie, I was not impressed with the bistec enchiladas. The filling was scarce, and it was weird, like tiny itty bitty pieces of dry meat, like what is left after you cut meat. The corn tortillas were crunchy in spots. The rice and beans: beans tasted like they were out of a can and the rice was dry and unappealing. The chicken fajitas: meat and vegetables were good. The flour tortillas were hard and tough. I make tortillas from scratch all the time, corn and flour, and they have never been that tough.I was rather disappointed with the flour and corn tortillas. They have the tortilla machine, no reason to have tough and dry tortillas. You make your doughs, divide up the dough for the size tortillas you want, press them if corn and roll them out if flour. Cook them on a hot griddle. Easy. Our server was great. She was nice, was smiling, she was quick.Dietary restrictions: The mole sauce contains peanutsWheelchair accessibility: Easy to get inside.
