Found on Google. We got there just after a rush we were told, so we had about a 20 minute wait. Service was pretty lacking, even though both servers were very nice. We sat accross from the kitchen window. I was watching food coming out. The kitchen put our food in the window and hit the bell. I looked at my watch. I watched both servers go up front a number of times and not touch the food. 13 minutes later they finally walked it over. It was cold. The plate itself was hot, but the food was cold. Not too impressed. Maybe we will give it another try one day.

Our family stayed in Roswell while traveling from Las Vegas to Texas, and we came across Cowboy Cafe, and it quickly became our favorite spot in Roswell. The food was amazing, but the pancakes were absolute perfection!
The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We can’t wait to go back and visit again. We tell anyone heading to Roswell to make sure they stop by Cowboy Cafe, you won’t be disappointed!

This place is always busy so I thought the food would be good. My out of town friend and I went . First the coffee was like water. It was a mistake to ask the waitress to give us a minute with the menu because we didn’t see her for another ten minutes. I’m a vegetarian so asked for the meat (3kinds) to be left out of my burrito. My friend got a simple egg and biscuits plate. When the food arrived my friend mentioned hers was not very hot and as she began cutting up her food she noticed the bottom of her biscuit was black, burnt to a crisp. Removing that she tried to enjoy the rest of her meal but it was just too cold. My friend stepped out side and the waitress came by and noticed all the burnt biscuit on the side. She asked if my friend would like another breakfast. I said no. Previous to that another waitress came by and asked if we wanted more coffee to two full cups that were perched on the side of the table full. Because the coffee was awful. And I told her that. She just walked away . No sorry no we can brew a new pot. After Al was said and done. No discount for the burnt biscuit or for my meatless burrito nor a suggestion that they add more egg or veggies to it to replace the meat I didn’t get. I have been at many restaurants when I have asked to have the meat removed. They have suggested they could add more vegetables, etc. not this place. Then on top of that when the bill came, they had monetary amounts listed in the right column and then any add-ons were in the left column so it looked like they were charging you more than what you got and then there was a place for non-cash payment already added to the bill while I was paying cash so when I asked about it, she said well it’s for people that pay credit cards and I’m like you don’t even know how I’m paying yet and she said well we’ll take it off at the end if they pay cash I don’t know about you, but that seems pretty presumptuous to charge me for something. They don’t even know how I’m gonna pay yet this place was terrible. I can’t believe the parking lot is full all the time. Maybe they treat locals and regulars differently.

Coffee was extremely weak, couldn’t drink it. Waitress was told by us and she took away the two full cups of coffee, with nothing said by waitress, no offer for another pot of coffee to be made with proper amount of coffee, not deducted from the bill. My biscuit was burned black on the bottom. It took about 8 minutes to cut off blacked/ burnt part of biscuit, and to cut up my food. Food was not even warm, left most of it. Waitress offered to replace my breakfast as she was giving us the bill. Too late.
Would give less than one star for food and service, not an option in your review star system.
