I ordered the chicken fried bacon B.L.Tand it was so so good. Staff was friendly and pleasant. Customers who sat next to us were friendly and pleasent.It was just a wonderful place. We sat next to the window where all the food was coming out and it all looked so delicious.We can't wait to go back and try something else. And those handbreaded onion rings, if you like thick onion rings, were so good.
About what we expected. The gravy with the chicken fried steak was bland, and the steak was salty. Decent country cooking. We were there near closing time and the wait staff was more interested in interacting with each other than they were in serving customers.
A proper cafe. Great country comfort food, New Mexico style with green chiles. Breakfast and lunch served all day. It's small and there's usually a wait, but you don't even mind because the food is so good.
