The people behind d the counter are nice. Lots of choices and prices are very cheap. But unfortunately, none of the pastries we bought were fresh. They were dry.

🏆 🥐 Cheap, fresh, fast. The “empanada” is the best sweet potato dessert I’ve EVER had—fluffy Mexican sweet bread with fresh sweet potato puree, not too sweet and only $1.50!! 😋 After taking the first bite on the sidewalk, I marched back inside to buy 1 pineapple and 1 pumpkin sweet bread, no joke. $4.50 for the best family snack Roswell offers. Next time, I’m trying the 🍎 apple turnover, conchas, and sweet cream filled cones.
✅♿️ Low lighting, not loud, wheelchair accessible entrance. Free Street parking out front.

Hate the service lady , asked about prices she was rude answering
Fantastic tamales! And the pastries are excellent. If you’re in Roswell and looking for quick, good, and well priced, this is a place worth stopping at.
El Toro Bravo Bakery is a small mom and pop Mexican bakery nestled in downtown Roswell, New Mexico that caters to Mexican sweet bread and other items as well. The owner came in while we were shopping and greeted us with a warm welcome and made us feel at home. The Concha sweet breads are very soft and large and super delicious!! If you are ever in Roswell, I highly recommend this Mexican bakery for your next stop for sweet bread!!

Had the flan over chocolate cake, delicious!
Lots of selections for pastries. Mexican pastries were soft and not too sweet. Twisted donuts were not very fresh. Tamales were very authentic and tasty. Friendly staff, will be back next time!
