Cold Grill Restaurant and bar located inside the Holiday Inn Roswell that serves up decidedly American fare with a nice bar menu to accompany it. We only ate here because we were exhausted after a long day of traveling, and the convenience factor of it being inside our hotel trumped the less than superlative Yelp reviews. The Good: *Surprisingly, the food overall was very not bad (read edible). The fries were decent, and my Tuscan chicken sammich was not the worst thing I've had in my life *Local beers on-tap The Meh: * The actual menu changed quite a bit from the photos we found online. *Only open for breakfast and dinner. *Margarita was good but weak *Overall, our server was fine, but she did have a snarky reply to what time they officially opened as she was contradicting the sign they had in place. *Prices were a bit high for the area, but considering this place is here for convenience factor, then it makes sense. The Ugly: *Pub chips were a bit overcooked (i.e., burnt) TLDR: Maybe the low reviews gave us low expectations, but it wasn't terrible. If you're staying at the Holiday Inn, and you have the energy to go elsewhere, then by all means, do it. But, if you're exhausted and just want edible food, then this ain't a terrible option.

So glad this place came back to life!! Had a Tuscan Grilled Chicken Sandwich that was just superb. They were out of Bud-light so I ordered the next best thing: Corona Extra with a twist of lime. Great place & even better atmosphere!!

Awful!!!!!! Traveled in late on a Sunday night, and wanted to just eat & relax. BAD IDEA!!! I checked out the menu at the entrance to the restaurant. When I picked it up, there was a Domino's menu - clearly, the powers that be were trying to warn me. Was feeling chicken strips or a chicken sandwich, but I could not make up my mind. Oh! Mind made up - there is no chicken. It's all frozen. So, I was stuck with a hamburger. I waited f-o-r-e-v-e-r for it. When it arrived, it was not medium, it was brown and dry. The hamburger bun was really flat. The food was definitely meh, but then my server randomly starts up a conversation about how she thinks she has a cold. Eek!!! To some extent, I feel bad for saying anything about it - she was super nice and was really trying to take good care of everyone, but that is so gross, I needed to say something. Next time I am in Roswell, I will be venturing out to Chili's.

Second time I've eaten here. Gave them a second chance and they failed me again. DO NOT ORDER THE SALMON. it's dry, white instead of pink and it's horrible. See pic. Also the "pesto fries had zero pesto on them" I've now tried everything on the menu and other than the salads and fried shrimp, it's horrible. All of it. To boot, this is twice i cake and twice there's drunk loud men cursing and playing annoying music on their phone.I guarantee i will never come back.

Very very good burger. This is the hotel bar but don't sell it short. it's a terrific burger. Tons of other options in town but none are better. Not a frozen burger patty. Tons of flavor. Staff is attentive. This Holiday Inn hotel is also very nice. Highly recommend.

Ate here since we were staying at the hotel and too tired to leave again. I was hesitant due to the fair reviews on both Yelp! And TA. But the deal I made with my husband was if it was not edible, we would order pizza! Service was just ok. Kinda slow, even though not busy. But the food was fantastic, drinks too! We split the buffalo wing appetizer ($8.75) and the sliders appetizer ($8.75). The drinks we had were a Mexican mule and a lemon drop martini. Buffalo wings came with 6 (kinda high price IMO), and pub chips. Wings were a good size, had been baked, the flash fried. Good and tasty! Pub chips good to too. Came with ranch, celery and carrot sticks. Beef sliders had 3 to an order. Had cheddar cheese and bacon on them. Also came with pub chips. They didn't look great and first, but had a great taste to them! Drinks were nice. The only happy hour they had was Bud light and Coors light for $3. From 5-7pm. No apps on happy hour prices. You do have to ask for the 10% discount for staying there (show them room key). Only reason to take a star away was service.

Husband and I argued whether to try an establishment in town or eat at the hotel. I read the reviews on TA and Yelp! and wasn’t impressed. But we tried it, with the deal that I’d order from a pizza place if the food wasn’t edible! Service was just ok. Took awhile for someone to come to our table. Place was empty except for locals at the bar. Ordered the buffalo wings ($8.75) and sliders ($8.75) and then a Mexican mule ($9) and a lemon drop ($8.75). Drinks were both good. Good amount of alcohol and mixed well. Surprise was the food!!! Sliders were outstanding!! The pub chips excellent! And the wings were a hit also! Only 6 for the order. :(. No real happy hour any more, just 2 beers were $3 (instead of $3.75) and no apps were discounted. Only negative thing was service. Just not that available. Not that we needed anything, except our check. Oh and you have to ask for the 10% discount for guests of hotel. Would eat here again.
