5 stars for the donuts alone!! They were very soft and sweet. The bear-claw was to die for! The restaurant itself was very rundown and the dining area was partially occupied by old, broken down equipment. An upgrade to the building would improve the dining experience.

The donuts are warm and pillowy, filled with smooth, sweet jelly, The pastries here are delightful, and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

This is a nice mom and pop donut shop. We got a half dozen and got different kinds that I’m not gonna type out. They were all good of course. I would say the classic glaze is the best, simply cuz it’s the most reliable. We were just visiting so most likely won’t be back in Ruidoso, but I would be happy if this shop was in my part of the world.

Wow what a find in Ruidoso! I’m here most weekends and have never stopped in here. My waistline is grateful but my tastebuds have been missing out.

My morning coffee just got infinitely better.
We went in with the intention of getting a half dozen and came out with 30 donuts. Bebe the owner is a real gem. She sold us in less than 5 seconds. Their specialty looks to be old fashioned in a multitude of flavors; maple, chocolate, glazed. They’ve got apple fritters, twists, crème filled, kolaches, and more. Do yourself a favor and indulge in Apache Donuts.
