The food was delicious. We had catfish and the chicken fried steak. Both were wonderful. Our waitress, Natalie, was so friendly and the service was great. We will be back when we ar in Ruidoso.

Our waitress Devenie really needs to be retrained. As a table of 5 on a Monday early evening we were there for an hour and a half waiting and waiting and waiting. Other tables seated 10 minutes after us were served first by other waiters. She made 3 stops at our table in all that time. We had to get her from another table to cash us out so we could leave or we would have been there another half hour.

We ate at 3 steak houses while staying in Ruidoso. Cattle Baron came in a distant 3rd. K-Bob's and Ranchero steakhouse were very close comparison. Due to K-Bob's salad bar, it takes 1st place in this comparison.
