Hands down the best chicken salad I've ever had! I ordered the fried chicken salad but asked for it grilled instead. It was moist, tender, and very flavorful. Huge portions. Our server, Melanie, was very friendly and prompt with service.

We have always enjoyed the salad bar; not this trip nor the food. Potato skins were dry. Salad bar wasn’t what it used to be. Ordered a medium well, classic burger and literally got raw ground round. The waitress was very kind and provided good service!

Came in from Albuquerque to spend a few nights at the Inn of the Mountain Gods. We were looking for a steakhouse and drove by Cattle Baron and thought we would give it a try. We got there about 4:50 pm and only a few cars in parking lot so we were not sure we had found a good place. We were pleasantly surprised that we must have beat rush of people. The place was packed by 5:30 pm. This place was a gem! We were surprised to see a real and very well stocked salad bar, like the pre-COVID days. The steaks were excellent and properly cooked. Our server was excellent as well. And the prices were very reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant to any 'tourist' looking to have a real local meal.

It was ok. The shrimp scampi was more of a linguine and had absolutely no wine/garlic/butter sauce. Added salt, butter from the bread they bring you and squeezed my lemon over it just to have flavor.
