Today I had one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had in 7+ yeas of living in Ruidoso. There was a line of about 8 people and the service was quick! Thank You! I've eaten dinner or had snacks with my kiddos here but today was my first breakfast and it was a delight!

Excellent food, and the beers are craft. They give you recommendations and the service is excellent. The place is very cozy and the views are spectacular. It definitely became our favorite place to come to Ruidoso.

Planned a staff appreciation party about 3 weeks in advance. The staff was attentive to emails, very responsive to each need and reached out to me right before the event to confirm everything was correct with the order and the time details. Can’t say enough great about them!!! Can’t wait to do it again in a few months. My staff loved it!

Excellent food, beer, and service.

The place was super clean (including restrooms), provided a great atmosphere, and had multiple seating options, including some overlooking a little stream. We saw the stream, some deer, and had a great time.

I would definitely come back here again!

Waited over an hour for our food. Get more servers or cooks. The wait was ridiculous. We only ordered fries.

We visited twice while in town. The vibe and the service are both really nice but the food really leaves something to be desired. The first night we got the green chile burger and the carne asada tacos. The burger was mostly inedible because of how spicy it was. :( The next night we got the margarita pizza. It was soggy and a little cold. Disappointed in the food but the beer and the atmosphere was good.

Amazing food ( good options for vegetarians and vegans too)! Amazing service and an amazing ambience with a catchy atmosphere! If you visit Ruidoso, this place is a must!

Vegetarian options: There's something in every section of the menu. Sweet potato waffle fries with queso,green chili and jalapenos are the yummiest!!! There's also the fungi mungle pizza that caught our attention and there are a lot of non alcoholic drinks options too!

My family and I visited this restaurant on a day trip for pizza and a beer. We saw they were having Oktoberfest and immediately got our tickets at a great early bird price. We had a great time with live entertainment and great food and drink. We took home some of their brews as well. Super friendly staff. We will definitely be returning! Thanks Downshift!

I am very disappointed in this business today. They advertised an Octoberfest for which we purchased Early Bird tickets (2 tickets at $15 each).
We arrived at 4pm and the line was already down the block with miserable ticket buyers covering their eyes against the sun. The line was not moving at all. They are too understaffed to host this type of event.

The staff here are incredibly kind, accommodating & knowledgeable about the menu. I’ve gone three different times & each time had a different person help me, but they all were willing to discuss the menu with me & help me find something I love!

The food is very good & I love that they have healthy options that are filling! I was also blown away with their coffee options & quality—I’m a nitro fiend & their’s is some of the best I’ve had! Their espresso is great as well. I am obsessed with their outdoor seating as well. 10/10, there is something here for everyone, definitely recommend checking Downshift out!

Dietary restrictions: I am unable to have dairy, gluten, corn or soy but their salad was delightful & very filling!

Excellent thin crust pizza. Great views out the back by the river. You order at counter then get a pager. Not a real extensive menu, more bar than restaurant. Great location if you are staying across the street at one of the hotels.

Beautiful place we hung out to listen to a band. The place was very clean and the stuff super nice. Food and beer were normsl to other breweries.
