I visited this place for the third time, and unfortunately always the staff were very rude and unfriendly. The owner should know how they are!Definitely I will never visit this spot again.

We stopped here for lunch. We had pizza which was amazing and Italian grinders which were so good too. Bakery items looked yummy but too full to try. You should definitely try.

This is the place to be when you visit Ruidoso! The atmosphere is amazing the employees are so friendly and the FOOD, the food is so delicious and the wait time is not bad. We accidentally ordered the wrong fries and they were quick to fix it, VERY PROFESSIONAL. The beer is on a whole other level. Jamie and especially Tom were the best! They made our night. 10/10 recommend!
Downshift is a cute brewery in ruidoso. Plenty of seating and a super relaxed vibe. You order at the counter and seat yourself. They are always featuring a band or even stand up! The beer was excellent! The pizza was good but the cheese curds were the highlight! Service was the only issue here. Seemed really lack luster and quite slow. Other than that I really enjoyed our first visit. We will be back!

Absolutely loved it here! The staff was so nice, the restaurant was pet friendly and kid friendly. The coffee and & pizza was great and we loved relaxing on the patio to eat!

It was a first time here. Right away when we walked in the staff was rude and the lady tending the bar was whispering to another employee and kept giving us unwelcoming looks. We were just going in for a coffee and brew. It will be our first and last time. Completely disappointed because we heard it was a good spot to chill at. If I could give zero stars I would.

Slowed down & settled in at @downshiftbrewingco ❄️ The staff was so kind and turned on the patio heaters for us! ? My humans enjoyed the She’s a Beaut Clark ??and Citrus Snow Day ? craft beers as well as the Poutine with Squeaky Cheese ? and the Porky Pig Pizza?. They even had craft coffee that we will be going back to try! Great views and food at this multi-story location. -@brewskibrewreviews

Anyone rating this place less than 5 stars is probably just having a bad day and didn't let the magically delicious beer and wonderful atmosphere sink in ;) - seriously just a fantastic top-notch place. The "correct" way to enjoy is to have one beer first... let it take full effect, then order piping hot delicious pizza ( they do the crust RIGHT - sooo yum ! ), then order more beer to sip n wait for that yum pizza all while enjoying the view of the river off the deck! The service staff was so nice and attentive! Do yourself a favor and frequent this place - the "downshift" perspective will enrich your life. Promise.
